'Voyagers' is the new single by the two Dutch musicians and producers DESH & delaney.. It was carefully recorded and mixed in delaney.'s home studio in Amsterdam where the two artists frequently work together. They wanted the song to feel nostalgic so they worked on an emotive vibe that evokes their own dear memories. This is how they came up with the title "Voyagers" as it reminds them of the many times being on the road together. The song's strength lies in it representing a powerful bond between the two artists. Beautifully crafted, each element of the song blends in perfectly together. Resulting in an exciting and emotional journey with a heartwarming atmosphere.

Orange Ripples is what happens when three Greek producers get together to make a track. The song has quite a relaxed and Mediterranean vibe. With elements from each producer’s style including hip hop beats, jazzy keys & strings, ambient back vocals and trip hop slow tempo. The result is simply divine.

"start somewhere" is a sweet and special piece that is, although old, still close to my heart.

I made this project between April and June, when I first started studying  at sae institute in north van.

An endearing and authentic body of work, this demo ep is like a portal into the past. Nostalgic and light-hearted with earnest poetics and soulful melodies. start somewhere is exactly what it sounds like, a landmark, a gateway sitting somewhere near the beginning of my journey into audio engineering and music production.

This is my FIRST multiple-track, self-produced, entirely self engineered project to hit the stream waves... It's been a long time coming but this is still a very exciting moment for me. :)

On the journey of making these songs, I didn't properly save my files while transferring from the school computer onto my hard drive. Sadly, my stems were lost, rendering me unable to properly dial in the mixes of each track. After holding on, and hoarding these songs for long enough, tortured by my inability to "fix" them, I've decided to put them out as is. I've added as much love and attention as I presently can to each track and I hope you can feel it when you're listening...

Allowing myself the space to put out something that I'm not 100% satisfied with is a practice in embracing imperfection and life's constant reminder to allow things to be as they are. I relinquish myself from the clutches of perfectionism and release my inner critic towards details that the average listener will never fixate upon.

It's all about the feeling with this one, so let me know how it lands.

Mononome eases the listener with yet another smooth, delicate and intricate track. “Rustling Leaves”, an array of jazzy instrumentation on top of a smooth beat consisting of rhodes piano, saxophone, electric guitar and classical piano intertwining with each other making it the perfect track to kick back & relax after a long day. Inspired while taking walks in the forest, listening to the wind blow against the trees this calming yet vibrant track emerged.

I'm Kaya. I'm a multi-disciplinary artist born and raised on Turtle Island, known as Vancouver, BC. Both classically trained and self-taught, my musical style ranges from folk, RnB to Hip Hop, trap and EDM. 

My aim as an artist is to create honest and real music from the depth of my Human Experience, in hopes that those who need the Reflection will Resonate. I'm basically just another human living life. With every high and low, I do my best to feel into what is there for me to learn and transmute that into Songs to Release stories that may otherwise get stuck.
