IAM – Trance & Progressive DJ / Seattle
IAM is a Seattle-based DJ known for his high-energy, emotional sets that blend uplifting trance, progressive house, and melodic techno. He’s the creator of two growing mix series on SoundCloud: Tranceforming—a journey through euphoric, uplifting trance—and Regressive Progressive—a deep dive into moodier, groove-driven sounds. His mixes have picked up steady traction from trance fans around the world.

Locally, IAM’s played at some of Seattle’s go-to spots for electronic music like Kremwerk, The Cuff Complex, ORA, and Cafe Racer, where he keeps the dancefloor moving with thoughtful builds, seamless transitions, and a sound that feels both nostalgic and forward-thinking.

Whether opening the night with slow-burn progressive or closing with soaring trance anthems, IAM’s sets are designed to move both the body and the mind. Always mixing live and always curating with purpose, IAM is ready to bring his unique sound to more venues across the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

I'm just a small-town Canadian boy who loves music.

I started listening to electronic back in 2000 after my brother lent me some CDs for the summer from Sasha & Digweed, Moby, and Orbital. I got into the dance scene shortly after and found a strong connection to trance with DJs like Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, and Ferry Corsten, while making some incredible friendships along the way. 

My first attempts at any kind of mixing were late-night vinyl sessions with my roommate listening to some classic trance and house and eventually putting together a simple set-up on my Mac to make some mixes for my commute. I’ve always liked the idea of being able to create a sort of soundtrack to my day-to-day and admire my friends who’ve made a career out of it as they bring such a positive impact to the lives of so many. 

I’ve spent the better part of my adult life abroad - first in China and now in Italy - and music has always been something that keeps me grounded and focused.

Tobe Tronic hailing from south Germany nearby Stuttgart. Since 1998 Tobe Tronic is playing a mixture between hiphop,electronic,breaks and uplifting bassmusic. His sets are characterized by a funky touch and a large pinch of scratching. He performed of partys, festivals und clubnights across Germany. In 2004 he starts the beatmaking after buying a Roland MC 303 Groovebox, since then he have released tunes and remixes on multiple labels. Tobe Tronic is also a part oft he Dj Duo „BLOCKROCKIN DJ TEAM“ established in 2012.
