The song title "de glace" in French, referring to the "coldness of a person", is an ode to the "cold" climate of the soviet region from where this post-punk music space first appeared in the 1970s. True to Akudama's style of techno, this track is driving, high energy and dark with a thick bassline that takes you on a journey to the beautiful abyss of post-punk techno.

Akudama’s rework of “de glace” is an icy soviet post-punk, hard techno and drum & bass blend track as part of their “Resleeved” project. It’s an explosive and energetic song that immerses the listener in a dark and cold cyberpunk world, but with a faster and driving pace than its original. 

The original song title “de glace” in French, meaning “of ice” or “cold-hearted”, has been replaced by the word “холод”, a word with the same meaning in Russian/Ukrainian - a tribute to the “cold” climate of the soviet region where this post-punk music scene emerged in the 1970s. 

True to Akudama’s style of techno, it takes you on a journey to the stunning abyss of futuristic genre fusion that challenges your perception of how electronic music can sound.

'Helium : Resleeved’ as part of Akudama’s Resleeved project, is a spacey Breakbeat track that takes you on a cosmic journey to the dark and groovy beyond, showcasing a new side of Akudama’s versatility. 

The new song title ‘He2’ is inspired by the original ‘Helium’, being the second-most abundant element in the cosmos, accounting for about 25 percent of the atoms in the universe. 

‘He2’ specifically is a molecule consisting of two helium atoms - the helium dimer. The bond holding this dimer together is so weak, it will break if the molecule rotates or vibrates too much - just as we are ‘breaking loose’ when the speakers' sound waves hit our bodies.

“CSWS” is an acronym for “Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop”, the cheeky and sassy anthem of a queer open-air party on a hot September day. The lyrics express the attitude of having fun and being free, regardless of what others may think or say. 

The track has playful, yet driving elements, creating a light, inviting feeling, perfect for an open space (in all senses) in the last of the spicy temperatures. The track is a celebration of queer culture and identity, and a reminder to never stop being yourself.
