To celebrate the relaunch of our mix series we're coming on strong with 2 mixes in quick succession. This next one comes from a firm favourite and friend of WOLF - Mike O'Mara. Mike runs the excellent Inside Out parties in Manchester - past guests include Beautiful Swimmers, Nick The Record, Intergalactic Gary, Move D and Ge-ology. He also has his Sheffield party, Huddle, run with the main man Dan J (another incredible DJ).

WOLF go back a long way with Mike and throughout the time we've known him he has always been a DJ we've admired for his on-point selection and top notch technical ability. His backroom sets are things of legend - basically, the real deal.

The latest release from @faroutrecs explores the connections between Brazilian rhythms and the broken beat movement, with three of that scene's key figures coming together to remix 'Clareia', a soulful samba cut from singer @sabrinamalheiros' latest album which features the bass and keys of legendary Brazilian jazz outfit Azymuth.

We're premiering 22a collective member and London-based producer @wuseli's remix, which rearranges swirling synths around shuffling drums and a very nimble bassline. Malheiros' hypnotic voice remains at the centre of proceedings, drawing the whole composition together.

Globetrotting Moscow-based DJ and producer Lay-Far and has been a long term favourite of ours. With stellar releases on top notch labels such as Local Talk, BBE, Atjazz Record Company, 4 Lux & G.A.M.M. We’ve managed to hold him down long enough to get this funk odyssey of a mix from him. Taking us through his expansive taste in rare disco, boogie, house, bass & afro grooves.

We’ve got word he’s wrapping up his 3rd LP! alongside some secret projects, so 2018 is set to be a big one for sure. Also keep an eye on the record shelves around the 24th November for his new vinyl only Lay-Far Re-Edits release on Version Galore.
