With Pat Metheny, you simply never know what is coming next. But among the many things that make this ever-changing artist so special is the consistent level of commitment and quality that he brings to everything he does. 

Whether purely acoustic or searingly electric, powerfully intense or deeply contemplative, highly composed or totally improvised—or even with some new-fangled contraption of his own design—there is always that unmistakable Metheny sensibility at work that has stood at the forefront of music for what is now approaching four decades. 

It is easy to point to Eric’s accomplishments. A ﬁve-decade career recording with folk and blues royalty. Two Grammy nominations and multiple Blues Foundation awards.
A following that not only crosses borders, it crosses continents. But what Eric Bibb is after is much, much larger than that.
 
To meet Eric is to be struck by both his humility and his warmth. There is no pretense in him. He is remarkably centered, his convictions based in the values of the civil rights movement of the sixties.
Eric’s music works in service of that dream, holding out a hope for a new world. He challenges us to do better, to reach higher, and strive harder. Like Mavis and Pops Staples, he wants to take us there.
 
Eric carries this mantle honestly. His father, the late Leon Bibb, was an activist, actor, and folk singer who marched at Selma with Dr. Martin Luther King. Eric’s youth was spent immersed in the Village folk scene. Names like Dylan, Baez, and Seeger were visitors to his home. He was deeply inﬂuenced by Odetta, Richie Havens, and Taj Mahal. And he has synthesized all of that into his very own style.
 
Eric is an artist who preserves the best traditions of pre-war blues, even while he expands his own oeuvre. Marketing tags him as a bluesman, but troubadour is the word that best describes him. He slides neatly between genres as he builds bridges with musicians from the UK and Europe, pickers from North America, and Kora players from West Africa. His collaborations with the likes of Michael Jerome Browne, JJ Milteau, Danny Thompson, and Habib Koite have produced music that is both ecstatic and exquisite.

One of the great names on the international guitar roster, Franco Morone is widely regarded as the "Italian Poet of  the Acoustic Guitar". His melodies exert a powerful charm which makes itself felt on the very first hearing and is enhanced by his thoughtful arrangements.   What is surprising in his work is the emotional impact of both his original and the traditional tunes the latter being completely refreshed and reborn under his fingers. Through his teaching and musicological research, Franco has become a reference point for many guitarists, both amateur and professional. He has given workshops in Italy and abroad and regularly performs at prestigious festivals in Europe, the United States and Japan


Sono un cantautore di Genova. 
Quello che tento di fare è di proporre canzoni dal sapore nostrano, e a volte addirittura arcaico, arricchite dalla contaminazione di strumenti insoliti, come il Bouzouki, mischiando atmosfere Irish e Mediterranee al Rock.
I testi che scrivo non sono altro che esperienze passate e presenti, o più semplicemente, storie di fatti e personaggi che passano in secondo, o addirittura, in terzo piano dal punto di vista storico e sociale. Sono quelle situazioni che ho voluto descrivere come "Le Storie di Periferia".
Ovviamente nel mio repertorio ci sono anche le canzoni sentimentali; dove però la parola Amore non compare mai, perchè preferisco cercare di renderne l'idea descrivendo l'emozioni che tale sentimento suscita.
Ciò che mi affascina delle mie composizioni è il notare che, com'è giusto che sia, ognuno le interpreta a modo suo e ne trae le proprie conclusioni a seconda delle sue esperienze passate e del suo stato d'animo. 
La musica non l'ho cercata e nessuno me l'ha indicata. É arrivata da sola. E, credo di non esagerare, se affermo che mi ha salvato l'esistenza. 
Da quando l'ho scoperta mi ha sempre portato fortuna, anche nelle situazioni più nere. Ma credo che il merito sia sopratutto di tutti coloro che mi seguono e mi sostengono. E, naturalmente, di tutti quelli che vorranno farlo.

Playing in most of important blues festivals (IBC Memphis, Pistoia Blues, Narcao Blues, Trasimeno Blues, Magic Blues, Santa Blues de Tenerife, Blues au Chateau, Salaise Blues, Blues in Idro, Milano Jazzin Festival and many more) opened shows for John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers, Jimmie Vaughan, Robert Cray, Charlie Musselwhite, The Derek Trucks Band, Robben Ford, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Sonny Landreth, Joe Bonamassa, Larry Carlton and he played with artists like Tommy Emmanuel, Eric Bibb, Roy Rogers, Guy Davis, Sandra Hall, Kevin Welch, Andy J.Forest, Watermelon Slim, Fabio Treves, Davide Van De Sfroos, Sugar Blue, Eugenio Finardi and many others.
After to have won the italian contest, on january 2010 he played at INTERNATIONAL BLUES CHALLENGE in Memphis, Tennessee, representing Italy.
He recorded two albums: the first called BLUES JOURNEY (2007) where he played on his own, the second called LIVE AT AMIGDALA THEATRE (2010) in trio.
