Matteo began his musical journey at the age of 10, starting with drums and performing at local events with his first band. His passion for music grew steadily, and in 2006, he adopted the name Dj Sale, inspired by his family nickname. He started performing in some of the most iconic clubs of Friuli, where his early sets marked the beginning of a career that would take him far beyond his local scene.
Over the years, Matteo honed his technique and musical selection, staying true to the House and EDM genres. These influences helped him grow as an artist, and the name Dj Sale began appearing more frequently on flyers of numerous venues, where his energy and unique style captivated the crowd.
In 2013, Matteo decided to evolve his stage name to Matteo Sal, marking another step in his musical journey. This change led him to perform in some of the most iconic international clubs. His shows took him to legendary venues such as SWAMI and ITACA CLUB in Ibiza, NIKI BEACH in Miami, Spring Break Invasion in Umago (Croatia), Rescue Club, Zeros Club, and Sizzle Club in Zante (Greece), Circo Loco and Cafè del Mar in Malta, Vybe in Ibiza, Maia Club in Amsterdam, and Ministry of Sound in London, to name just a few.
Driven by a desire to add a personal touch to his sets, Matteo ventured into music production, creating remixes, mashups, and bootlegs. He also signed tracks with respected record labels. In 2023, two of his singles were released: "Universe" with Blanco y Negro and "Your Mind" with Sirup, both receiving significant attention on digital stores. In 2024, he followed up with the release of his track "Rave Time", further solidifying his reputation as a rising star in the electronic music scene.
Matteo Sal continues to push the boundaries of electronic music, with a career that promises even greater achievements, both as a DJ and as a producer.

After winning the JBL x Martin Garrix Academy contest in 2022, earning a festival slot at Parookaville and supporting Martin Garrix at Superbloom Festival in 2023, Solis took things to the next level in 2024:
He supported James Arthur at the legendary Elbphilharmonie Opera in Hamburg and with a performance on the iconic “Rise” Stage at Tomorrowland, he reached one of the most sought-after milestones in the global electronic music scene – proving he’s ready for the big league.

In 2025, Solis is more active than ever – with more festival shows than any year before, including a high-energy set at Electric Love Festival, Austria’s biggest stage for dance music. He also returned to the JBL x MG Academy – this time not as a participant, but as a creative mentor and marketing expert, helping shape the next generation of talent.

Under his former alias Xenea, Solis surpassed 3 million Spotify streams. Now performing under Solis, he’s working with a full folder of melodic, powerful releases set to shape his most defining year yet.
