Back on the firm and fresh from his last cut ‘Emergency’, Toolroom resident Ellis Moss is back with another, chunky deep Tech roller – ‘Get Mad’. The London based DJ and producer delves deeper into his toughened-up club sound, blurring the lines between Tech House and Techno to carve out a space for himself within the underground.

‘Get Mad’ features all the components which make a certified club banger, a rolling groove, bone rattling subs and an oscillating synth stab that lingers throughout the record. The vocal cut throws in an unorthodox edge to the track, electrified and reaffirming the tracks jilted but relevant message.

Falling in line with current events around the world, Ellis Moss has tapped into the state of play with ‘Get Mad’. Offering up a sound that moves into a new direction for the rising artist and a cut we know the UK bods will certainly be reloading in their sets repeatedly. Things might seem crazy lately, but you can expect ‘Get Mad’ to rinse the sub-woofers hard, with its low-slung styling and roughed up production and that’s a fact.

D.Ramirez & Mark Knight wrote some incredible collabs back in the early days of Toolroom and really set the sound and vision of the label.

This stone-cold anthem 'Colombian Soul' first landed back in 2007; fast forward 10 years to the current time of 2020 and Sllash & Doppe give this track a brand new lease of life by means of a remix!

It really is signature stuff from this duo – With those warm tribal drums and rolling groove, you can tell instantly who's responsible. Like any great remix, they’ve been respectful to the original, keeping that dominant synth throughout whilst adding their own layers of steel-pan sounds and plenty of percussion.

Sllash & Doppe really inject their personalities into their productions and DJ sets. That is more than evident here and they are now fully part of the #ToolroomFamily!

Alaia & Gallo are a pair of smart young Italian DJs who have quickly made their musical mark, have turned a number of heads and have laid down some essential sets in the best clubs round Europe. It was back in 2013 that they secured their first club hit with the thrilling house grooves and emotive vibes of ‘Beat of the Drum’. The track shot up through the Beatport charts and eventually hit number one in the house genre. It announced the pair had fully arrived and since then there has been no looking back. 

Every tune this pair has put out has picked up plenty of plays from big name DJs such as Claptone, as well as getting many plays on various radio stations around the world and also being included on Defected Records In The House Ibiza 2016 release. More recently this dynamic duo have turned out ‘Who Is He?’ which was signed to the celebrated Soul Heaven Records label. With lush soul as well as feel good house grooves, the cut became a real crossover success and has won the pair many new fans. Their production style takes cues from many different genres, not just house, and as such each new record they put out is fresh and exciting. With such a diverse take on DJing — which takes them all over Europe — and production, it is no wonder Alaia & Gallo really stand out in the modern scene. Expect much more from this hotly tipped pair in the coming months.
