With 30 years of experience, Aćim (@progresivnasuza) has firmly established himself as one of Serbia’s well-known DJs. His dynamic performances have taken him across the country and beyond, captivating audiences at clubs, festivals, and events around the globe.

Known for his versatile style, Aćim’s sets range from deep house and house to progressive house, creating a signature sound that resonates with partygoers and club enthusiasts alike. His residencies at Belgrade’s iconic venues—Soul Food, Industria, Mondo/Plastic, Underground, and Sound have cemented his place in the region’s nightlife scene. Additionally, he has been a resident DJ at legendary events including Loud Minority, Percussivo, Lucky Strike Urban Experience, and Tuborg Serbia, further solidifying his reputation.

Aćim has also expanded his influence internationally, performing at prestigious clubs and festivals in Miami, Singapore, Space Ibiza, Oslo, Privilege Ibiza, and London, where he played at Renaissance and Smartie Partie residencies at The Cross.

Beyond the decks, Aćim has been a prominent promoter. His own booking and promotion agency, coupled with his role at Tuborg’s Loud & Clear project, has hosted top worldwide DJs and introduced his evolving style to diverse club audiences across Serbia. He has shared the stage with renowned talents such as Hernan Cattaneo, Sharam, Silicone Soul, Dave Seaman, Sander Kleinenberg, Dubfire, Sultan & Ned Shepard, Harry Romero, David Guetta, Bob Sinclar, Benny Benassi, and Armand Van Helden at some of Serbia’s most unforgettable parties.

After a career spanning countless performances and mixes since he first stepped behind the decks 30 years ago, Acim has ventured into music production. Recent signings with Digitronica, Sex On Wax, Love Inc, and Night Beat Records mark the beginning of a new chapter—one dedicated to raising the bar of electronic music and pushing creative boundaries.

@fade_N is an up-and-coming House DJ and aspiring producer, born in Baku in 1998 and raised in Saint Petersburg, Russia. In 2018, she returned to Baku, where her passion for electronic music deepened and the idea of becoming a DJ first began to take shape — even though it took a few years for her to fully step into the scene.

She officially launched her DJ career in 2023, building her sound on the emotional and rhythmic foundations of Progressive House. This background shaped her ability to seamlessly navigate and blend a wide range of House genres, allowing her to craft dynamic and versatile sets that connect with diverse audiences.

fade.N is also a resident of Rahat Sound, an independent electronic music platform based in Baku that supports and promotes emerging local talent through showcases, content, and community-building. Her involvement with Rahat Sound has been a key part of her artistic journey, offering a space to grow, perform, and collaborate within the city's thriving underground scene.

Since her debut, fade.N has shared the stage with some of Baku’s notable names and performed at one of the city’s popular venues, quickly establishing herself as a rising talent in the local scene. She is currently studying music production and working on her first original releases, expanding her artistic vision beyond DJing.

Hola amigos, bienvenidos al EP053 de "El Viaje" Podcast de musica electrónica. En el arranque comparto con uds un set sonidos progresivos. El mix guest esta a cargo de Casnik (Nicolás Castillo) es un DJ/Productor argentino, desde pequeño sintió la música de una manera especial. Comenzó a experimentar todo lo que sentía por dentro a través del movimiento. Compartió cabina con DJs internacionales como el dúo Pan Pot, Roy Rosenfeld, Marcel Dettman, Armen Miran, Sam Sure, Gux Gimenez, Adi Dassler entre otros.

Casnik / Bio:  Casnik (Nicolás Castillo) es un DJ/Productor argentino, originario de City Bell, La Plata. Desde pequeño sintió la música de una manera especial. Comenzó a experimentar todo lo que sentía por dentro a través del movimiento, como Michael Jackson, tomando clases de baile y recorriendo varios géneros musicales para conocer la esencia de cada uno y comprender los diferentes estados de ánimo. Durante 2019 compartió cabina en eventos congrandes artistas nacionales como Elio Riso, Jay de Lys, Bodeler, Matias Sundblad, LeFrak, Mai Lawson entre otros. En ciudades como San Pedro, Mercedes, Azul, Tandil, Olavarría, La Plata, Mar del Plata, Pinamar y Monte Hermoso. En el 2020 es donde comienza a conectarse con nuevos géneros como el Progressive, Organic & Melodic House. En 2021 se mudó a Tulum, donde comenzó a abrir nuevos horizontes y seguir cumpliendo sus objetivos, tocando en clubes de Playa del Carmen, Holbox y Tulum; donde tuvo el placer de formar parte del line up con DJs internacionales como el dúo Pan Pot, Roy Rosenfeld, Marcel Dettman, Armen Miran, Sam Sure, Gux Gimenez, Adi Dassler entre otros.

En 2023, se centró en su desarrollo en el mundo de la producción musical, con lanzamientos en Mango Alley, Balkan Connection, Sunexplosion, 3er Avenue entre otros.

ABOUT OTTAWA PROG VIBES

Alain M.'s weekly podcast, Ottawa Prog Vibes, is now in its 7th year and is a recognized presence among Canadian Electronica shows. The show has two goals: showcase progressive DJ's from Ottawa (and Canada) to a global audience, and bring international DJ guests to an Ottawa (and Canadian) audience). 

Alain plays three out of every 10 shows. His mixing has been noted as particularly creative and smooth, a skill that allow his sets to be experienced as seamless stories.

An offshoot series, called Mellow Prog Vibes, is released every two weeks and focuses on more chill vibes, slightly more downtempo, to create a more relaxed vibe. It is curated by OPV resident DJ Boraa, who plays every other episode, with guest DJs playing the alternate.

Ottawa Prog Vibes and Mellow Prog Vibes are broadcast weekly on UK's Saturo Radio, New York's Chill Lover Radio and Ottawa's Blast the Radio.


ABOUT ALAIN M.

Alain M. started dj’ing in his early 20s and played a variety of clubs, big and small, in Ottawa, Montreal and Kingston. From teenage influences in progressive rock, metal and blues, and later New York and Chicago house, Dutch techno and early trance, his style has evolved towards the more melodic, infectiously rhythmic and thoughtful sounds of progressive house, with a particular fondness for Argentinian productions.

Over his 30+ years as a DJ, Alain has cultivated a signature melodic, danceable, and thoughtful style with enough surprises to keep even the most devout listeners on their toes. His live events, organized only a few times annually, are a hypotonic, transformational experience for attendees, putting the Nation’s Capital on the map for electronic music. He has organized and collaborated in a number of events including Levitar, Sunday Meet & Beat, Sit-Down Sessions, Shake my Thursday and Expeditions, attracting a thoughtful crowd who stay mesmerized by his melodic, danceable sets, always peppered with delightfully unexpected sonic elements.

Alain M. is also a guest DJ submitting regular sets to several radio and online outlets. He is a resident on X-Beat Radio (France, Belgium). He was a monthly resident on Abyss Sound Experience on QuestLondon Radio in 2021 and on UK-based Beach Radio between 2021 and 2024.

He has appeared as a guest on a number of shows in several countries including the UK, Argentina, Spain, Poland, Brazil, Sri Lanka, Peru, Turkey, Israel and the US. In Canada, he has been featured as a guest DJ at several events by Ottawa-based Music.Art.Ppl, on CHUO FM’s Vanguard Pulse Radio, on CKCU FM’s Lost In Bass and Mapped Out Radio, on Montreal’s Afterhour radio show and on Toronto’s ION radio show.
