Montreal artist @Kora-musique takes the next steps for recently launched New York label Earthly Delights, an imprint centred on spotlighting talents pushing the boundaries of electronic blends. The Canadian producer and DJ picks up the mantle from Yor Kultura, who provided the labels first release in a three tracker titled 'Odyssey'. Kora comes to the label after the well received 'Nuit D'Afrique' and 'Ovo' on Kindisch in November. He treats Earthly Delights to two original cuts in 'Fragile' and 'Vayu'. The pair have already seen much support  from the likes of Acid Pauli, Hernan Cattaneo, Oliver Schories, as well as heavy rotation on the playa. White Ocean founder Timujin supplies the remix action, reworking his own top notch version of 'Fragile'. Today, we're very excited to present to you in full premiere 'Fragile' in its original mix. This is an incredibly emotive cut, which fuses two distant worlds in one exquisite concoction. The last release from Flow Vinyl was back in July 2016, but don’t let the low profile since then fool you: the label has been busy preparing their next trio of releases, which include two from Oovation and one from Rich Curtis. First up is ‘Falter’ by Oovation feat. Amber Long and the wait has been more than worth it. ‘Falter’ is classic Flow Vinyl material: melodic progressive house, expertly produced with an infectious vocal and enough bite for tougher dancefloors.

Oovation is the production name of Pierre Bonaventura from Saarbrücken in Germany, and he has become one of the hottest young producers on the progressive techno scene. After several strong releases, it’s only natural that he brings his sound to Flow Vinyl and that the results are very impressive indeed. ‘Falter’ features the vocals of regular collaborator Amber Long, and it’s a mesmerizingly beautiful track full of swirling synths and dramatic energy. In true Oovation style, it has a haunting, darker edge too, which is fully complemented by Long’s sensuous voice.

Oleeva Records is back with their biggest release yet - A V.A. Compilation called "Masai", that puts the spotlight on a big chunk of the Oleeva-family itself. The quality of each & every track is astonishing and really lifts up Masai as a whole. I was never a big fan of albums and probably never will be...but this incredible Compilation showed me, there's always an exception.

Moving on to the Premiere though, I think we were lucky enough to premiere my absolute favorite of Masai, coming from the huge talent out of L.A. : Dead-Tones. He's an absolute brilliant producer, that takes so much out of synths and creates magical atmospheres. His latest release on Kindisch was an absolute proof of how diverse this man is.

"Juno Feathers" goes back to a very straight forward, heavy feel good production, that convinces with its melodic- & atmospherical progression, but really shines through it's natural & organic details, which truly embody the Oleeva spirit. It's chord progression always keeps up the tension and makes sure, that the track always rises till the very end. When the final element is added for the climax, I was thoroughly  amazed, where this production was able to go.

'Masai', Oleeva Record's first album and first V.A. Compilation will be dropping on January 29th, as an exclusive release on bandcamp.

Apocalyptic in tone and feel, these brooding synths juxtapose a gritty saw tooth baseline record, warping you around in its raucous overtones. This is definitely a journey record and one for the late night heads.

On the B Side is an unbelievable remix from Darren Emerson. He takes proceedings into the more metallic, edgy, analogue side of techno. His remix is aggressive, it’s mean, it’s dark, it’s proper warehouse rave vibes and this mix is best listened to at screeching volumes, with his breakdown air horn synth style juxtaposed against the dark pumping techno groove. Major
DJ support already on this from the likes of John Digweed, Jamie Jones and Luciano.

Transcode tells us: "Though critical of my own productions, "Monolith" is actually one of my favourite tracks and I am very excited about the release. This is my first record to hit a Vinyl press and having Darren Emerson on board nailing such a great remix is just the cherry on top. I am a big fan of space & cosmology and at the time of writing this track I had just watched a classic film "2001 A Space Odyssey" which is as deep & dark as it is trippy, so I think I drew a lot of influence from being in that mindset. "Monolith" is a warm & mind expanding techno track that floats between musical boundaries & ignores the limitations of genres.”

Transcodes’ sound leans towards deep, driven techno but he doesn’t limit his horizons, he designs deep and elaborate tracks that ignore the generic rules and constraints of genres. Crossing over musical boundaries is a must, with well crafted sounds, atmospheric soundscapes, weighted beats and lush low end sonics his music receives support from Joris Voorn, BTraits, Alan Fitzpatrick, Carl Craig, ANNA, Fur Coat, Wehbba, Shall Ocin, Andre Crom, Adrian Hour, Groove Armada, Adriatique, Gardens Of God, Gorgon City & many more.

Motek Music's next release comes from Canada and artists Larose and Josef. Larose has been a regular Motek member from his time living in London and now having moved back home to Montreal has teamed up with Josef for this bold and punchy EP 'Light / Gate'. 'Light', the darker of the two has strong driving bass tones and an industrial feel within the synth sounds, whilst detuning vocals provide focal points and weight to the production. 'Gate' has a strong presence but with a lighter feel than 'Light'. More air in the string synths and guitar add space and a layer of atmosphere as syncopation in the snare and percussion create elements to grab on and dance too. The track is finished and given its forward pushing feel with a pulsing 16th note lead.

Remixing on this release we welcome Barber and Bonaca. Having had Barber as part of lineups on past events, we are very happy to welcome him to the label with his take on 'Light.' He has kept the track dark but added crisp and sharp beats sections intertwined with the space within the bass to give the music bounce. A rich production full of builds and intrigue with subtle fills and tricks to add to the depth and quality. Finally Bonaca has delivered a hypnotic version of 'Light'. Mysterious bell sounds move over warm low and high pads to create the foundation to which hints of the original come though. Strong driving bass lines along with the subtle rise and fall in the arrangement keep the track strong for the dance floor.

The personality of Alaix Pulse was born in the early 2000s. Fascinated by African rhythms and natural sounds, but also influenced by the pop rock culture of the 90’s’ of his parents. Alaix began composing his first songs on a video game console at the age of 13. Experimentation has always been a key point in each of these musical productions, thereby exploring different genres over the years. Over time his signature sound further developed and he got recognised by great venues, such as LaCoste Castle, that gave him the opportunity to perform his music and spread the love even more.
