Ute.Rec and Amniote Editions have teamed up for a collaborative release kickstarting the opening of Europe after a winter of heavy lockdown. An uplifting fundraiser compilation with 17 artists from both labels spanning moody landscapes and neo-trance.

ALL THE PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED TO THE RED VAN.

A volunteer-run NGO working with harm reduction and human rights for street based sex workers in Copenhagen.

Alan Backdrop is the long-running project of a producer whose sound has always gravitated toward the hypnotic, deep, and repetitive dimensions of Techno, while subtly incorporating elements of dub, ambient, trance, and experimental electronics—always anchored to a solid Techno framework.
Rather than following trends, his work has consistently focused on atmosphere, groove, and gradual transformation, shaped through extensive studio jam sessions and a hands-on approach to sound design.

Throughout his career, Alan Backdrop has released music on respected and forward-thinking labels, including Prologue, a cornerstone imprint for deep and hypnotic Techno during its most influential years, and Mental Modern, with whom he has shared both releases and a strong artistic alignment.

Alongside his label work, he has cultivated an independent path, releasing a trilogy of albums on Bandcamp that reflect a more personal and experimental side of his sound.
Whether in the studio or behind the decks, Alan Backdrop approaches Techno as a long-form experience—intimate, physical, and deeply immersive.
