In anticipation of Neptunian Influence's 6th annual Detroit brunch during Movement, we're thrilled to present a mix by one of last year's celestial gathering lead navigators, Paul Fleetwood! The Perimeter Junk label boss and @hot-mass co-founder has prepared a deep, ethereal and raw soundscape for the heart of the storm, which is where he took us on that glorious day nearly one year ago. The mix features selections from his excellent PJ label and even a few tracks from this year's party navigators, @shawn-rudiman and @fdbeardd. Stockholm-born DJ, producer and label member Joel Mull has spent over three decades shaping the global techno landscape, being recognised as a key figure in the pioneering wave of Swedish techno artists. Joel is renowned for his versatility, working under multiple aliases: Icarus, Gotzkowsky and most recently, Damm, where he channels his passion for ambient and electronica. As a member and contributor of the Swedish label Parabel, Joel continues to innovate the scene with his emotive and melodic productions. 

Joel’s productions evoke a sense of nostalgia, blending deep, downtempo rolling basslines with ethereal ambient textures and harmonic synths. This mix is driving, uptempo and seamlessly fuses rhythms with intricate synth melodies.

3024 TAPES are back! This time with a live recording of Martyn performing at Germany's best sounding club, Wuppertal's own Open Ground on Nov 16th 2024 - Enjoy.

3024: Please describe the mix in a single sentence ?

Martyn: This was my first gig on Open Ground's system and I loved every second of it. The set kind of meanders to connect between a few tracks I decided I really wanted to hear on that sound, like Archangel, an old Aux88 jam and Hieroglyphic Being's "21 Ways". 


3024: What DJ inspires you at the moment / has inspired you throughout the years and why?

Martyn: This particular night was with two of my fave DJ's, Jossy Mitsu ; who, without a doubt along with Ehua, Mia Koden and Re:ni are in my opinion leading the charge at the moment when it comes to bass music in the UK.  And an old favorite Joker - who I hadn't heard for years but was just incredible, playing a crazy set of grime instrumentals, dubstep classics, oddball electronica and even mixing a Joy Division record into an old DMZ (!!) 


3024: What are you working on / what have you got forthcoming?

Martyn: There's some incredible music coming on 3024 which I am very excited about. Also more 3024 Tapes and a few little jams by myself under my Gabe & Jude alias.

Leiras es un DJ y productor con la capacidad de fluir entre los diferentes niveles de intensidad del techno. Un estudioso incansable de la diversidad de ritmos y diferentes géneros dentro de la música de baile. En sus sesiones establece un puente entre los clásicos del pasado y la vanguardia musical de los artistas contemporáneos. 

Nacido en el norte de España, aunque con un largo periplo vital a las espaldas en Berlín. Es allí donde ha desarrollado su discurso musical a los mandos de las cabinas de los principales clubs locales. Durante este tiempo, Leiras se ha convertido en alguien a tener en cuenta en la escena techno internacional. 

Como productor, es el fundador de 'Ownlife', un sello discográfico centrado en la música techno más visceral, hipnótica y a veces experimental. Es la plataforma donde aparecen la mayoría de sus propias producciones, pero también un espacio donde dar libertad a algunos de sus artistas favoritos en la actualidad. 

Durante los últimos años, el trabajo de Leiras lo ha llevado a clubes de toda Europa y países como Colombia, México, China, Georgia o Corea del Sur.
