Made up on the spot, basically. Used the sme approach of breaking a chord up and picking it as single notes as I have done in another of my tracks/songs/compositions.

played live, this is the 'kitchen sink' version.
if I say do myself, I did a good job editing out some mistakes and bum notes

the full idea , with verse parts and a solo section (I recorded a stand alone solo part, but it sounded a bit thin, sound I played it over the hook/riff which was looped allowing me to build around it)

recorded as first result of use of the Vox practise amp I got for christmas.

I feel as if this one had a Rolling Stones sort of thing.

Edited out what I could, to salvage this. Some obvious edit points, but I'm more satisfied with this. 
decent timing, makes the guitar sound fuller , like it was double tracked  - not the case 
,  might be tricky to replicate.

Strange W.I.P.m4a

took a chord progression that i picked up during today's guitar lesson, and used a bit of free time afterwards to put this together. it turned out better than the idea I originally had in mind for something to work on. 

good job with editing too.

i think that the reggae-ish guitar stabs will be changed to something more in keeping with the rest of the track. I already have something in mind.

this is a blend of things. sort of influenced by a Depeche Mode song, but went in another direction. listening go it afterwards, the 'bassline' made me think of Bootsy Collins.

thought it had a Who sort of flavour, a kind of punky edge, even though a part came from Carly Simon.
even think that there is a slight Beatles feel in there....the picked notes towards the end a bit of psychedelic 'ticket to ride'. its just a sketch, potential to explore
