I was invited by William Zdanis to make a mix for his Peace & Purpose radio show, djbillyz is from Oregon, United States and a very respectable DJ so it was a real honour he asked me. His show runs monthly on Saturo radio and the theme is as it says, make a mix with Peace and Purpose. I took months to find the tracks for this mix as I really wanted to hit on the Peace & Purpose element of his show, once he explained the idea behind it something clicked and I knew I had these tracks in the back burner.

If you get a bit of time stick this on, sounds great through headphones, close your eyes and you will feel at peace for an hour. Every track has meaning behind it I will post this in the comments, hope you enjoy.

The mix is exactly 1 hour long, that's how much effort went into making it, to make sure the last track finishes bang on the hour mark takes a bit of planning.

End of the year mix, I played out last night for the first time in about 2 years so came home and made a new mix. Taking a break from things definitely develops your mind set.

I picked up a few of the tracks when on holiday in Turkey, the local DJ played them and it hit a spot with me, suited the mood and where I was at in life. I was keen to explore more so came home and did a bit of digging, with the few tracks I had managed to find 20 more and threw this mix together. It took hours of research and once I downloaded the tracks just hit record and made a mix. I find some of my most creative mixes are when I do this with new tracks no thought, just winging it, seam to listen to the music different when its new tracks. A good few of the tracks are by a boy called 'Tebra' from Serbia. Really nice productions and very enjoyable to mix with.

Audiolife events was started in April 2005 by friends Alan MacPherson and Darren Malley. When we started out there was nowhere to play or listen to the music we were trying to promote so we started our own nights, starting of in halls and social clubs then taking our nights on to clubs and live music halls. Our aim was to provide Inverness with a much needed club scene and giving local DJ's a stage to perform.
