Enya - Only Time "Only Time" is a song by Irish singer, songwriter and musician Enya, released in November 2000 as the lead single to her fifth studio album, A Day Without Rain (2000). The song reached number one in Canada, Germany, Poland and Switzerland, number two in Austria, and became Enya's only top-ten single as a solo artist in the United States, peaking at number ten on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2001, "Only Time" was released again as a remix and I believe the only track of Enya's she allowed to be remixed. The track was remixed by the Swiss American Federation (S.A.F.) (Christian B. and Marc Dold) with a final remix by Enya's producer, Nicky Ryan. Enya donated the earnings from the sale of that single to the Uniform Firefighters Association's Widows' and Children's Fund to help the families of fire fighters in the aftermath of 9/11.

Sacred Spirit - Yeha-Noha (Wishes Of Happiness And Prosperity) Sacred Spirit is a musical project by Claus Zundel, Ralf Hamm, and Markus Staab. The music is of electronic, new age, world and ambient genres. Sacred Spirit's total worldwide album sales are estimated to be over 15 million copies. For each album sold, donations are made to the Native American Rights Fund, a non-profit Native American organization devoted to restoring the legal rights of Native Americans.

Deep Forest - Sweet Lullaby "Sweet Lullaby" is a song by French world music/ethnic electronica musical group Deep Forest that originally appeared on their eponymous album. The song gained popularity in 1992 and 1993 when it was released as a single, becoming a Top 30 hit in many European and Oceanian countries. The song "Sweet Lullaby" is adapted from a traditional song from the Solomon Islands. A lullaby named "Rorogwela", sung by Afunakwa, a Northern Malaita woman, was used as a vocal sample in the "Sweet Lullaby". The album Deep Forest was dance-driven and the samples were heavily digitised and edited. It was re-released as a limited edition in 1994 under the name World Mix. "Sweet Lullaby" also uses Baka water drumming in the background

Enigma - Principles Of Lust "Principles of Lust" is a 1991 song created by musical project Enigma. Enigma is a German musical project founded in 1990 by Romanian-German musician and producer Michael Cretu. Cretu had released several solo records, collaborated with various artists, and produced albums for his then-wife, German pop singer Sandra, before he conceived the idea of a new-age, worldbeat project. According to Cretu, the inspiration for the creation of the project came from his desire to make a kind of music that did not obey "the old rules and habits" and presented a new form of artistic expression with mystic and experimental components. "Principles of Lust" is a multi-part song consisting of two versions of "Sadeness" with "Find Love" in between. The single version is a remix of "Find Love" with some additional instrumentation.

Pilgrimage - Rain Or Shine - Simon Cloquet & Eric Calvi. Eric Calvi is a French sound engineer and record producer, whose work has included engineering on Duran Duran's "Meet El Presidente" single in 1987. Calvi decided he wanted to be a jazz guitarist and began to study music. In 1980, he left France and went to New York with a friend. To finance the trip, Calvi told his parents he wanted to be a sound engineer. Six months after arriving, he secured a job at a studio called Sound Ideas In 1984, he joined The Record Plant in New York as an assistant engineer when Cyndi Lauper was recording her first album She's So Unusual, featuring "Time After Time". More work followed including sound engineering on tracks by George Benson, Wet Wet Wet and Aztec Camera.

Magna Canta - The Rythm (Alleluia) Magna Charta was a German project of the producers MC Bones (* as Walfried Böcker) and Tim Benjamin (* as Helmut Meyers). The two musicians reached 1990 with Hymn, the first single of this act, 25th place of the German and 16th place of the Swiss hit parade. Magna Canta is a modern band who seamlessly blends traditional gregorian chants with modern electronic music, creating mystic and relaxing compositions. Produced by Junior Derios, Sascha Dücker y Ray Federico.

Gregorian - Moment Of Peace "Moment of Peace" is a song by the German Gregorian chant band Gregorian featuring English singer Sarah Brightman. It was released in 2001 on Edel AG as the only single and as well as the opening track from their third studio album, Masters of Chant Chapter II (2001). It is a Gregorian chant and new age song that was written by Amelia Brightman and Carsten Heusmann and produced by the latter and by Jan-Eric Kohrs and Michael Soltau. Amelia Brightman (born in 1979), also known as Violet, is an English singer and songwriter. Born in Dacorum, England. She has written, traveled with and provided the voice for many albums by the project of Gregorian chant.

Leo Rojas - Der letzte Mohikaner LEO ROJAS, is one of the last, true native american indians. With over 600.000.000 clicks on Youtube and 2x gold record awards (more than 200.000 sold albums), the multi-instrumentalist is about to release his 5th studio album in 2017 (Pr1me Records), which took him one year of hard work in the studio. Leo Rojas describes his new sound as a perfect symbiosis of mind-blowing electronic beats and traditional native american sounds.

Now We Are Free, Feat. Czarina Russell (Live In Prague) composed by Hans Zimmer and vocals are by Lisa Gerrard for the "Gladiator" movie . Also look out Enya's version of this. Czarina Russell is a vocalist, songwriter, composer and multi instrumentalist. She has worked in the music industry in Los Angeles since 2005 where she began her career here as studio manager for Hans Zimmer’s renowned Remote Control Productions. After 8 years she segued into the creative department as a composer and now works independently. She is a soloist in the Hans Zimmer Live band and has toured around the world with them playing everything from Coachella to the Formula 1 in Singapore.

I was invited by William Zdanis to make a mix for his Peace & Purpose radio show, djbillyz is from Oregon, United States and a very respectable DJ so it was a real honour he asked me. His show runs monthly on Saturo radio and the theme is as it says, make a mix with Peace and Purpose. I took months to find the tracks for this mix as I really wanted to hit on the Peace & Purpose element of his show, once he explained the idea behind it something clicked and I knew I had these tracks in the back burner.

If you get a bit of time stick this on, sounds great through headphones, close your eyes and you will feel at peace for an hour. Every track has meaning behind it I will post this in the comments, hope you enjoy.

The mix is exactly 1 hour long, that's how much effort went into making it, to make sure the last track finishes bang on the hour mark takes a bit of planning.

PyschoWaves Vol 1

Audiolife events was started in April 2005 by friends Alan MacPherson and Darren Malley. When we started out there was nowhere to play or listen to the music we were trying to promote so we started our own nights, starting of in halls and social clubs then taking our nights on to clubs and live music halls. Our aim was to provide Inverness with a much needed club scene and giving local DJ's a stage to perform.
