Deep Water (demo)

Formed in early 2023, The Fex are a Melbourne based Country/Folk/Rock band made up of Andy on bass guitar and upright bass, Jason on electric guitar, lap steel and vocals, Phil on acoustic guitar and vocals, Steve on keyboards and vocals and originally Ernie the virtual drummer. In late 2024, Ron joined the band on drums and percussion.

The band’s current focus is on original song writing and live studio audio & video recording and performance with the odd gig here and there. Growing the fan base through social media, streaming and community radio will be the focus moving forward.

Influences are many and varied from folk to country, rockabilly to prog rock, heavy rock to jazz and blues. The Fex sound is a meld of all these influences coupled with over 200 years of playing experience between us and multiple vocalists which produces a unique blend that need not be labelled.
