Day Into Night (Apr '23 set)

You know that feeling at the end of a hot summer day, when you're feeling a bit tired and drowsy from being in the sun all day, but you're just filled with joy and gratitude..so you decide to freshen up and give a bit more...on the dancefloor?!

That's what I had in mind with this set. Reflecting back on all the beautiful days and moments I've had this past season, which I spent here in the Netherlands and in Ibiza, Spain.  

It has become quite a flowy, melodic, set. Chill and intense at the same time, with multiple peaks, as you're likely to experience during the Summer months. 

For now, a bittersweet goodbye to Summer (at least here in the Northern Hemisphere). And, a hello to Autumn...

A Melodark Progressive House & Techno set with a touch of Halloween, since it's that time of the year..

It was quite an interesting and challenging set to build, as I wanted to make it a bit dark/scary, yet energizing, uplifting and exciting at the same time.

Probably my most FUN set so far..

After last month's melodark Halloween set I felt like putting together something light and festive. 

Inspired by mr Mau P, who's sets I've been listening too lately, I decided to take on Tech House for a change. And I must admit that I very much enjoyed putting together this set. I'll def continue with tech house..

Vitamin Dopamine - Vocal Tech House set

You know that exciting feeling when you look outside the window and raindrops have suddenly turned into snowflakes?! 

In a moment of time, a grey, wet, winter's day has transformed into a magical, white, winter's day.. Filling you with joy and igniting your spirit to go on an outdoor adventure!

That's what I've tried to capture with this melodic, progressive, house and techno set. Like a snowflake, crisp and light, floating through the air..I hope this set will uplift you, leaving you feeling optimistic and energized.

This is my 14th, and last set, of 2023 as we are approaching 2024 in a few days time.. This year has been an absolute blast music wise, and I'm very much looking forward to next year's developments and creations.

Music has the power to unite, uplift & spread messages across like no other language can. Since I absolutely love music, DJ'ing is one of the ways I intend to uplift, energize & spread love, connecting to hearts all around the world.

'Agapi' - my 3rd name - comes from the ancient Greek word ἀγάπη (agápē), and is said to be "the highest form of love". Also commonly referred to as "Universal Love". If there's one thing the world can benefit from having more of, it's LOVE right?

Happy to share my sets with you. I hope that by the end of a set you'll feel like you've been taken on an exciting adventure, leaving you energized and fulfilled. 

Most of my sets will be deep-melodic-progressive house & techno. Occasionally I'll dive into a different genre and/or mix several genres together (#whynot?!).
