Wolf Ear & Fassbender make their RKP label debut with the lone interpretation of ‘Strange Lights’. Hailing from Canada and Germany respectively, Wolf Ear & Fassbender have been paired together as occasional studio partners since 2020. 

Releases via Wolf Ear’s Strange Town Recordings imprint solidified the duo’s creative synergy, blurring the borders between progressive and melodic house, and in turn earning the praise of the progressive fraternity’s top tastemakers. 

Subsequent projects via Dreaming Awake and Mango Alley would also land with a resounding thump, the most recent of which was a August of 2025 with thier remix of ‘As We Rise’ by Ghostpipes. 

Now, taking centerstage for the RKP faithful, Wolf Ear & Fassbender make an impressive label debut with a stellar rendition of ‘Strange Lights’. Opting for a subversive approach, Wolf Ear & Fassbender deconstruct the main elements over a traditional progressive framework. Always creative remixers, it’s a Berlin-inspired melodic lead which ultimately takes centrestage, fully saturating your pleasure centres, as robotized vocals steal the air across a melancholic finale.

Ukrainian megastar Spartaque makes his long overdue return to Respekt with this charging two-tracker. Lead track “Do It Right” barrels along, playing metallic clanks off against a skipping synth sequence and vocal snips. Chicago Loop shuffles the pack, making more of the vocal and injecting some skip and swing into the synths. Rounding the package out is “Never Say No”, a deeper slice of Techno, with moody pads and voices to suck you in.

The new Intec release from Avision is the techno alias of Anthony Cardinale, who under his birth name has featured on labels such as Toolroom and Suara. Focused towards a harder techno sound, Avision tracks have been released on Victor Calderones Matter, Mark Brooms BeardMan plus Sians Octopus. Picking up support by taste making DJs like Nicole Moudaber, Pig&Dan, Carlo Lio, Kaiserdisco, and of course Carl Cox. Based in America, Anthony Cardinale is a popular DJ in his hometown New York. Currently living in New Jersey, he has also played other American cities including Denver and Las Vegas. 

"Mind Of The Man - Intro" begins with an ambient start that progressively builds until the kick drum is unleashed to lead the track. Combining gentle synths and solid percussion this intricate slice of techno is the perfect EP opener. Lifting things up a gear, the second track "Mind Of The Man - Outro" has liquid background textures like waves laping against the shore, whilst the hypnotic lead synths build with intensity. Finishing with a descent into ambience, this is the perfect outro tool for any techno set. Third on the release is "Choppin" which used an electric vocal sample to create the core of it's rolling groove. Loopy techno with fluttering hi-hats and expert programming, this jackin' track is similar to the work of seminal artists such as Truncate and Psyk. Finishing things off, "The Other Things" has a high energy clap rhythms that combined with fast flowing hi-hats, provide the tracks driving force. Heads down techno at its best, it's dancefloor focused ferocity takes no prisoners.

<p>In the same vein as her recently launched MOOD imprint, Believe is suited to a number of atmospheres and settings. Across the nine original productions and one collaboration with label boss Adam Beyer, Nicole has crafted a sonically diverse long-player of sounds which draw on the plethora of styles electronic music has to offer. From her accustomed techno to twisted house and everything in-between, the stylistic variety on offer means cuts Believe will easily feature in more intimate settings and big-room venues alike. Believe features a host of tracks aimed squarely at the clubs. From the moody Movin On, the bass-heavy Do Your Thing, to the industrial techno grooves on Come And Lay and the hypnotic chanting vocal on Get On It, the techno-aficionados will not be disappointed with what is sublime set of cuts that will no doubt destroy any dance-floor. </p>

<p>In contrast however, there are more intimate moments to be found. For example the rhythmically entrancing yet uplifting Fly With You, to Liberum Spirita with its mazy ethereal breakdown, and the synth-heavy percussive builder Lumière Tamisée. Nicoles further flexes her production muscle with the stripped back dub-flavours of Big Love With No Apology, and a robotic groove-laden funk on the standout Can I Get Some. Believe delivers a consummate body of work with which Nicoles considerable abilities in the studio are clear for all to hear. A wide-range of sounds that is sure to appeal to the idiosyncratic tastes of the various sub-sections of electronic music community. Furthermore, it lives up to the high-standards of previous Drumcode long-players and is an engrossing and impressive debut; and one that offers a smooth segue into the next chapter of an already exciting career.</p>

Bart Skils kicks off the three-track single with ‘Fight Club’. Using rolling drums, ‘Fight Club’ builds to a crescendo before the unusual melodic synth phrase bursts in to give the track a distinctive character. ‘Base Camp’ uses a throbbing, militant style synth that emanates in and out to add dynamic and tension. ‘Tracking Down’ uses atmospheric pads to construct a thick build up before a funky, melodic line kicks in to give ‘Tracking Down’ a different feel to the others.

Alan Fitzpatrick's new EP 'In the Beginning' makes the most of the industrial techno style
with ambient percussion to create space and rhythm giving ‘In the Beginning’ a big
warehouse feel. The droning synth carries the track through before a melodic synth line
gives the track the boldness that has seen the Alan Fitzpatrick sound become infamous
around the world. Lexicon uses a pitch bending synth as well as old-school synth strings
and pads to create another atmospheric track that will be a staple in any techno set.

A man who needs little introduction, Southampton born techno legend Alan Fitzpatrick has spent the last decade carving out his musical niche and holding rank in the upper echelons of the underground electronic world. Few artists can claim to have headlined Berghain and also had a hit on daytime BBC Radio 1, but then there aren’t many artists like Alan Fitzpatrick. 

One of the most popular techno DJs in the world, he has rubbed shoulders with the likes of Carl Cox and Adam Beyer for the best part of a decade, performing at the world’s biggest clubs and festivals. Known primarily for his raw hard-edged sound, Alan has developed into one of dance music’s most versatile producers, equally at home putting out techno bangers on Drumcode as he is making disco-infused house anthems, or experimental electronica under his 3STRANGE alias, not to mention his impressive range of collaborations (including CamelPhat, Skream, Sasha, Rebūke and Jamie Jones). 

The We Are The Brave and Apex Faction label don adopts a no nonsense approach to A&R and in 5 short years Alan has welcomed some of Techno’s finest producers to his fold. The Englishman champions the musical output of both established artists and breakthrough alike, accumulating over 50 million Spotify Streams on We Are The Brave records since its inception in 2016. Fast-forward to 2021 and the southern powerhouse shows no sign of slowing down, his passion for music permeating all aspects of his career.
