Born in Southampton, England, Alan Fitzpatrick (@alanfitzpatrick) grew up on a diet of funk and soul thanks to his Motown-loving father, before getting into pop music in the '80s and finally dance music culture through the rave and acid house scenes. He soon became a major face on the world techno scene, aided by his prolific work rate.

Originating from South Shields in the North East on England, Richy Ahmed (@richyahmed) has drawn on his wide experience to build a career with genuine long-term integrity allowing him to inspire and engender the next generation of British house producers and DJs, and in doing so build a long-lasting legacy. As of now he is a graduate of many Ibiza summers as an original resident of Paradise at DC10.

We go back in time for 10 years, to a well known club in Berlin, where I celebrated the 10 Years Anniversary of my label CLR, and guess what - also played for 10 hours. Can´t believe that this is already 10 years ago really. Still kind of remember that night/day very well, especially the magic moments during the party and also especially at the end, when I played that DJ Hell track. With me on that night playing were Traversable Wormhole, @sanhajimastering Brian Sanhaji, @tommyfourseven_47 and @monoloc_official  until I finished off the night/day with my closing set. These are memories that are ingrained in my brain and I surely hope we can soon do this again. So this week it´s the fourth hour of this set. All the rest will be coming on a weekly basis, as you all know by now I guess. A man who needs little introduction, Southampton born techno legend Alan Fitzpatrick has spent the last decade carving out his musical niche and holding rank in the upper echelons of the underground electronic world. Few artists can claim to have headlined Berghain and also had a hit on daytime BBC Radio 1, but then there aren’t many artists like Alan Fitzpatrick. 

One of the most popular techno DJs in the world, he has rubbed shoulders with the likes of Carl Cox and Adam Beyer for the best part of a decade, performing at the world’s biggest clubs and festivals. Known primarily for his raw hard-edged sound, Alan has developed into one of dance music’s most versatile producers, equally at home putting out techno bangers on Drumcode as he is making disco-infused house anthems, or experimental electronica under his 3STRANGE alias, not to mention his impressive range of collaborations (including CamelPhat, Skream, Sasha, Rebūke and Jamie Jones). 

The We Are The Brave and Apex Faction label don adopts a no nonsense approach to A&R and in 5 short years Alan has welcomed some of Techno’s finest producers to his fold.
