Hailing from Durham, England, Phil is resident and co-promoter for Promise. His style spans organic and progressive house, trance to techno and beyond. He's all about the melody and energy and his sets always get the pulse racing! He's been DJ’ing for over 25 years and as well as Promise you can catch him playing for parties like Progress:ON, Goodgreef and Dave Pearce’s Trance Anthems. You'll also hear him every month on Saturo Sounds with his radio show, SHADES and also on Method Radio with his new show, BLOOM. 
This year Promise had a new beginning and we expect to see lots more of Phil alongside some exciting bookings as it cements its position back on the Newcastle club scene.

Giancarlo Olórtiga AKA Nimbus is a Peruvian DJ of deep house, melodic and progressive styles.
He began at the age of 13 listening to melodic and progressive trance in the years 2005 songs.
 Later, he began to be influenced by progressive house. In his sessions he usually sets the scene with an organic style and at the same time generates a hypnotic atmosphere with progressive melodies, including trance sounds that have always endured in his musical history.

In 2018, he belongs to the electronic music dissemination group and promoter "Vision House".

Initially falling into dance music through the sounds of the late Larry Levan and Frankie Knuckles and loving the soulful house and disco sounds they played, it progressed into a love of pretty much all forms of dance music. From the Old Skool 88-92 sounds that brought Acid House to the masses, to the early progressive sounds of the likes of labels such as Stress, Jackpot, Bedrock and Skinnymalinkey. Starting to DJ in 1994 but only going for 3 years before taking a 17 year break from all clubbing and DJing and starting up again back in 2014. Initially playing Old Skool gigs for a while and building back from there. I listen to and play all sorts. Old Skool, Techno, House, Progressive, Disco and Edits.

Current Residency @ YDNY in Whalley Range Manchester (Bi Monthly 3rd Saturday of the month)(Feb / April / June / Aug / Oct / Dec)
