With a calculated approach, Kassian The Protean is a DJ project with the sole goal of making auditors experience the best of melancholic storytelling in electronic music. Taking today's best avant-garde, deep, melodic and ethereal techno releases, Kassian The Protean seamlessly blends them to create long, auditive, cinematic journeys for the soul. Stories with acts, emotional apexes and downs, landscape changes.

Having been influenced by the pioneers of electronic music such as Hernan Cattaneo, Soul Button, John Digweed and Stephan Bodzin, Kassian The Protean has now mastered the art of musical storytelling. With opening acts for the likes of Giorgia Angiuli, Jonas Saalbach, Groj, Simon Doty, Teenage Mutants, the project has now established its presence in the teeming Montreal scene.

Resilient:

Inspired by songs on his mama’s radio, maybe subconsciously, Marko held the sound of the 80’s / 90's to this day. He didn’t grow up with vinyls, and didn’t start to DJ when he was 10. Despite that, during his childhood he used to run away from piano accordion classes, just to do some composing at home. Since then he has been in love with tremolo effects, organ synths and glitch vocals with the goal to conjure a soundtrack vibe from a famous “Top Gun” movie. Member of Berlin based Instead Recordings; Deep House Craft (South Africa); Hamburg based Neele Records; Munich based Karmaloft Music, Affect Recordings & Affekt Reaktion and also a founder of Beat Sound Visions (Worldwide). He is an inhabitant of the world where human dreams are playing a crucial role. An all-around electronic multi-genre music player.

Bio:
Marienne is a 23 year old Dj from Mendoza, Argentina. She started her formation as a Dj in 2018 studying at "Beatroom Studio" located in this province. She’s characterized for playing different electronic music genres such as Downtempo, Deep House, Progressive House, Minimal and Techno, being in her preference the last two. She sees Djing not only as a Hobby but as a lifetime Job, also she aspires to become an electronic music producer. Marienne also has a duo with her cousin and Dj Sempronio, they specifically play Melodic House, Minimal and Techno. She’s currently also studying psychology and looking forward to combine both passions in some way.
