What started as a project between friends to establish the sort of space they wanted to see in dance music, Get Physical is a name that has only grown in stature and cultural significance. Coming under the leadership of current label head @roland-leesker, over the past decade Get Physical has expanded its scope to reflect the ever evolving world of electronic music. In celebration of the label’s milestone 20th anniversary, Leesker got to work compiling a definitive compilation of music that celebrates Get Physical’s past, and looks toward its ever bright future. Today, we join in the celebrations with this very special podcast. We’ll be speaking to Roland, and hearing from a number of the Get Physical family about their favourite memories and milestones with the label, while listening to this momentous compilation together. 20 X GET PHYSICAL : 20th Anniversary Podcast

The Drifter is Mark Flynn, an Irish producer, DJ and singer. After an upbringing dabbling in different musical pursuits, from bands and choirs to folk and traditional, a love for electronic music was born.
The Drifter's dj style, like his productions, definitely lean towards the hypnotic, melodic and emotive side of electronic music. No matter what genre he is playing. House, Techno, Disco. He learned his craft from hours of djing in bars and clubs and running clubnights. One such clubnight was Passion Beat, a night he ran in Berlin for over 3 years with his buddy Mano Le Tough. It gathered a loyal, steady following and quickly became known for it's two residents and the guest artists they booked.
He runs the record label Maeve together with two of his close friends, Mano Le Tough and Baikal. All three share a similar passion for deep emotive music, and the label has quickly become one to watch..

Frau Blau Radio #028 ─ The Drifter

Thomas and Julien are Dutch brothers from South of France. They propose either a DJ or live act mixing several genres whilst keeping a groovy, melodic and emotive edge.

Passionates in organic music, they put out their own "A Day At" videos showing organic production and live performances through field recordings. They also created "A Day In” which translates cultures through field recordings and collaborations with local and traditional musicians. They already have concluded first collaborations with Gnawa musicians in Morocco and Huichol tribe musicians in Mexico.
With release on Crosstown Rebels, Sapiens, Bar 25 and their own imprint, Klassified Records, the two brothers also run The House of Klassified in Amsterdam and the Klassified Music Festival in South of France.
