A Mack - 2020 Tracks

This playlist is a compilation of the tracks made for a DOA production challenge.

The challenge: "You are invited to make and submit a tune/s from any genre of music from any era or make up your own, it must include a weird unique vibe. It can be as experimental and strange as you want, make it how ever you see fit.... serious or not, have fun and loose your mind a bit. Go deep."

Old weird tracks could be entered as examples and inspiration. This playlist is a combination of those old tracks and new ones produced specifically for the challenge.

The Tides of Time

This is from my first session with the new version of SunVox, v1.9.6
I was trying out the new pitch shifter feature.
In the first half the melody of pads determine the transposition ofbtje pitch shifter.
In the second half, it's the bassline. It's a subby bass so play it loud!

Another experiment!

An eclectic mix, including:
Clave rhythm from South America
Samples of African percussion.
Some Cello.
And some of the wonderful synths from the SunVox template.

Last track of 2020. Got Loopcloud to thank for the great guitar and vocal samples - that's what makes the track. Elsewhere, using my TD-3 for a little sprinkle of acid and getting to know Cherry Audio's DCO-106 for some of the synth stabs.
