[03/05/2024] What Did The Messenger ﷺ Fear For His Ummah? - By Abu Idrees Muhammad Khān حفظه الله. Khuṭbah at Masjid As-Sunnah An-Nabawiyyah, Aston, Birmingham, UK.

Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:

- A response to one of the youth who asked for advice on how to tackle the fitnah we are facing in these trialling times.
- Imām as-Sa’dī (رحمه الله) on the reasons why holding on to one’s religion will be like holding on to hot coals.
- That which the Messenger ﷺ feared for his ummah.
- The worthlessness of the dunyā to Allāh.
- Holding on to the Qur’ān and Sunnah and not being hasty.
- The cure to all the fitnah we are facing.
- Ḥasan al-Baṣrī (رحمه الله) on intending what Allāh intends for us.

I heard the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wasallam) saying, "Whosoever amongst you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand, and if he is not able, then with his tongue and if he is not able, then with his heart, and that is the weakest of faith."
