Burt Cobian is a young man who grew up in the city of Zürich in Switzerland.
His encyclopedic  of House  music started at the early age of ten. And since then collecting Records.
His ingress of mixing started in 2013 and made his debut at Freida Büxe in 2015.
Has since then played in  Berlin, Munich, Vienna, Ibiza and even enjoyed playing at the famous Garbicz Festival in Poland. 
He loves to mix Minimal flows with oldschool House beats.

Patrick Chen (formerly known as PTX) has reinvented himself as ‘Animato’, with a new style that borders on a delicate meeting point of modern Progressive Psy-Trance. 
This project was a natural step forward, as Animato has gotten firsthand experience on the worldwide psychedelic circuit. After a few years of constant grinding in the studio, worldwide shows & performing on the biggest stages at events such as Boom Festival, Dreamstate, Psy Fi, & many more, he summarized his long journey in the fields of consciousness with a masterpiece debut album called ‘Harmonize’. Including guest appearances by Liquid Soul, Freedom Fighters, Ritmo, Perfect Stranger, Ticon & Sonic Species. 
People refer to this work of art as 'Animato’s book of memories'.
Animato was always an expert in creating great progressive melodic tunes. Lately, he's been pushing his boundaries with a psychedelic hybrid of power and emotion, wrapped in that famous Animato production style. 
In the last year, Animato has continued to tour across the world being invited back to large events while performing at ones such as Boom festival 2018, EDC, Tribe Festival, and Airbeat One. All while still releasing tracks under major labels with artists such as Ace Ventura, Ritmo and more as well as appearing on compilation albums like Street Parade 2018 Official (mixed by Liquid Soul), Vini Vici ( Dream State ) and more.

Special Kay Biography

The dance floors of Cape Town have been my playground for the past 25 years.

In the summer of 2007, I realised that this was becoming serious, and that I needed to let the magic of music become a more profound part of my life. As the Trance scene in the Cape was evolving, and the music was flowing into a more progressive and percussive tribal energy, I finally found my sound. After years of driving everyone crazy, I was finally given my own pair of CDJs and DJane Special Kay was born, honing my style and building my audience in my quest for full electronic nirvana.

Much of my style is based on a driving gallop of a bass-line together with a powerful melody or vocal message in the intro as well as in the breaks. It is my way of bringing awareness into a dance floor space. My sets are full of groove and always interactive, making it impossible to leave the floor. A journey from deep tribal rhythms to uplifting melodic Progressive Trance with a psy twist - always very danceable.

As my sound matures and my audience grows with me, I look forward to delivering more quality sets that are full of emotion, that allow me to connect with my dancers, and that will be remembered long after the party has ended.

In 2024, I am happy that I finally found a home within BMSS Records, and I am looking forward to representing the label in South Africa and beyond.
