T. Nile is an award-winning songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who traces her musical journey from her early days in a remote Galiano Island cabin. Her father, who performed as “Dan the Man, The One Man Band,” took inspiration from his own mentor and blues legend Jesse Fuller of “San Francisco Blues” fame, and in turn, prepared T. Nile for an unconventional life through cross-continental touring in an RV, starting at the age of six.

I am a child of God by grace through faith in Jesus the Christ.

I used to be addicted to meth and thought that it was good to use this substance and marijuana and some prescribed controlled substances. I still struggle with a nicotine addiction but I am hoping God will deliver me from this very soon with a willing heart to stop. I used to run around the streets in psychosis and very troubled and wishing for it all to end. I am glad to say that Jesus saved me. One day I quoted John 3:16 while I was coming down from a relapse(using meth) and the troubling spirit, I believe, that I was running from left me but not without a fight. I saw a friend that I went to college with and he and his partner took me to their home and housed me and comforted me; they even slept in the same room with me as I was so traumatized; this I believe was the grace of God working through my friend and his partner. Eventually I left them and was still traumatized but I made it back to my hometown via a bus and after I had more relapses but I never will forget the day I called out to the Lord and quoted John 3:16 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. I believe my faith in God's only begotten Son saved my life.
