Today, it's Thursday the 3th of September 2015, and for this edition, we are going overseas to Brooklyn, New York.

Justin Schumacher (Rawthentic Music, On Edge Society) Bklyn USA

The Brooklyn natives writing style remains thought-provoking and groove laden , employing complex fills and slick programming with spacial sonic construction while still remaining floor- focused and energetic. He applies this same passion and attention to detail in his dj sets which can traverse
many different moods, grooves, and genres depending on the room he is working. His love for techno and electronic music clearly shows when he performs, creating an instant connection with the crowd on the most primal and perennial level.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY by way of The Bronx, Justin Schumacher is a product of 90s hip hop and rave culture. After over a decade of hard work and dedication he has emerged as one of NYC's most flourishing techno purveyor. His studio output continues to gain notoriety in the global techno community. His releases and remixes can be found on labels such as Rawthentic Music, Unknown Territory, Ohn-Cet, Italo Business, From 0-1, Vector Functions, Monocline Records, Dystopian Rhythm, Illegal Alien, De-Konstrukt and many many more with over 50 releases to his credit. Forthcoming label releases include Elevate, On Edge Society, Reloading Records. Justin has been remixed by Audio Injection, Proudly People, Patrik Skoog, Sutter Cane, Dj Hi-Shock, Callum Plant and more. His tunes have been featured on charts, podcasts and live dj recordings from Chris Liebing, Dave Clarke, Truncate, Slam, Georgio Gigli, Ben Klock, Pfirter, Macromism, Matt Sassari, and Pig n Dan just to name a few.

Es ist der zweite Longplayer, den @marc-depulse rausbringt. Sein erstes Album kam 2011 und 2012 verteilt auf drei EPs bei Ostwind Records raus. Nun folgt „Kontrollverlust“ am 20. November 2017 auf @einmusika-recordings. Der Leipziger DJ und Produzent hat innerhalb von zehn Monaten 20 Tracks kreiert, die sich im weiten Tech- und Techno-Feld austoben und von denen es final zehn aufs Album schafften – emotional, mysteriös, sphärisch und dunkel. Für den Titeltrack „Kontrollverlust“ steuerte @xenia-beliayeva die Vocals bei. „Einmusika war die erste und einzige Wahl. Ich hatte keine andere Idee bzw. High Expectations’ is the first single from Xenia Beliayeva's forthcoming artist album ‚Riss‘.
The long awaited- and highly anticipated follow up to her 2010 debut LP 'Ever Since' which appeared on T. Raumschmiere's Shitkatapult label.

The industry veteran has built up an impressive discography, releasing her music on labels like Datapunk, Different, Systematic and Einmusika to name a few and collaborating with artists such as Dubfire, Oliver Huntemann, Miss Kittin and Marc DePulse.

Her devotees are not only hailing from electronic club land but feeling at home in the darker, kind of goth-flavored areas as well as in synth- and non-mainstream pop.
Areas Xenia Beliayeva is not afraid of to explore which you can clearly hear while listening to 'High Expectations', which sounds retro poppy- and sophisticated electronic at the same time.

On remix duties we see Sid Le Rock who delights us with a dark, gritty and moody interpretation of 'Noir', one of the songs that will be featured on the forthcoming album.
The Canadian artist hardly needs introduction with his previous work for Kompakt, Mute, Areal, Beachcoma and My Favorite Robot. So you know what to expect!

'High Expectations' is the first of two singles that will be released before the 'Riss' album will see the light of day in March 2018. Keep an eye out- and an ear open for it!

techno circle. "DUMPFE TRÄUME" is written for the charming German Vampire Movie "WIR SIND DIE NACHT" (We Are The Night, out on October 28th), directed by Dennis Gansel. An edit of the song finds its way on the O.S.T. of the movie by Ministry of Sound. The Shitkatapult single release also features KNOW ME from her last album
EVER SINCE and it´s exclusive instrumental version. We are the night....
