War!  The year is 1969 and United States troops have been entering the wilds of Vietnam.  A young man was enjoying his quiet life in middle america's suburbs when he was snatched up and taken to war.  War changed him, and when he came back, nothing was the same.


This is the solo music of Robert Vance.  Forgotten Vietnam war veteran turned guitarist.  This page features mostly metal music, with some doom influences as well as some ambient and spoken word.  If you like what you hear, check out the facebook page.

British Beatbox/Blues act Heymoonshaker met in Nelson New Zealand. within 2 weeks of introduction the diverse duo were booked by New Zealand’s wine country’s (Blenheim) top bar. After there first DIY tour on the east coast of the south island they were picked up by Christchurch record label Backyard music, where they recorded their first EP. After there first record the band pursued different paths gaining them credit as solo musicians playing with the likes of Scroobious Pip, Jack Beatz, Dylan le Blanc... 
2011 saw Heymoonshaker reunite touring UK, France and Scandinavia, in preparation for their new album. 2012 see's the duo continuing performance throughout Europe and the US.

Basé en Suède, le duo Heymoonshaker voit pourtant le jour à Nelson, en Nouvelle Zélande, en 2009.
Après avoir écumé bars et lieux de concerts, ils enregistrent leur premier album de beatbox blues la même année.

En 2011, tournées en Angleterre, France et Scandinavie.
En 2012, sortie de leur nouvel album et performances dans toute l'Europe et les Etats-Unis.

You think our philosophy is just to play great music? Well Philosophy On. We are a pop sextet with a jazz persuasion, and a rock sensibility. Writes the Examiner, "from the first chord combination played the crowd was hooked. With the duoing talents of a male lead guitarist/vocalist and sparkling female vocalist they brought a very magnetic chemistry to the stage and left everyone wanting more."

As young kids, many of the members perfected the art of playing out-of-tune power chords and tootling on wind instruments. After hearing each other at a high-school band recording session, jamming was demanded. They formed a strong group that was a self-proclaimed “splinter jazz ensemble,” made from the core musicias of a Jazz big band. Unlike the traditional Jazz combo, The Courtesy Bandis are heavily amplified, and exuberantly lyrical.

The band consists of Jordan Lamport on Guitar/Vocals, Eyob Tesfaye Sharew on Guitar/Vocals, Ben Lamport on Bass, Max Bessesen on Saxophones/keys, Sakille Lowman on Vocals/percussion, and Taylor Ivey on Drum Set.
