Vestige lingers like a ghost of feeling — the weight of a memory that never was, aching from a place that doesn’t exist.

This track is built upon layered elements and samples — many of them generated using AI as a creative tool. Not to replicate the human, but to explore unfamiliar textures, atmospheres, and emotional tones — and to let imperfection, noise, and errors remain part of the sound.

Step into a moonlit river of sound. Session XIX — Lanterns Over the Water drifts through the heart of Japan’s shrine and lantern traditions, weaving non‐lexical shrine chorus hums, shakuhachi sighs, koto glissandi, and taiko heartbeat pulses into a deep, meditative lounge journey.
Inspired by Kyoto’s Gion nights, coastal lantern festivals, and the still elegance of Shinto shrine waters, this session captures a ritual calm where fireflies, incense smoke, and floating lights move as one.
