Reginald’s Remix of "You Know Like 17" strips things down to a raw, lo-fi groove—crunchy, dusted textures meet an irresistible swing, turning the original into a gritty, underground roller. The original "You Know Like 17" rounds out the EP with its intricate sound design and heavy, mind-bending drive.

These sounds I’ve created have been rooted in my mind, heart, and soul ever since some members of my family introduced me to electronic music and a wide variety of genres. Now, at 29, this influence continues to shape me. My own compositions are meant to connect with you in different ways. That’s what I try to do as much as I can.

"Wobble bass sounds" are my top pick—my absolute favorite. Thanks to dubstep for that!

There’s definitely a free/rave party vibe in my music, especially in the hypnotic repetitions you’ll find. More generally, I love the power of a kick drum and the symbiosis it creates with the bass, the way you can actually feel every variation inside yourself when it hits you hard. Bass music is truly a gift in this sense.

I do all of this entirely on my own. Being a bit of a lazy soul, I work on it whenever inspiration strikes. I don’t rely on musical theory or advanced skills—I simply use my laptop, Google for guidance, my ears, and that’s about it. A few years ago, I started doing more covers to explore different styles and rhythms, which has helped me grow creatively, even if my progress is still a bit slow.
