Chicago’s Sol Echo holds energy down on the dancefloor, infusing moody UK house energy with the gritty sound of underground deep house and techno. Emerging out of 2022, Sol Echo has developed a recognizable and infectious niche in rave music. His tunes quickly caught the attention of a worldwide audience from releases on labels such as Armada, Turnt, and a collection of self-released tunes and IDs shared globally. Thanks to the support from worldwide tastemakers such as Insomniac, Diplo’s Revolution, Dancing Astronaut, and many others, Sol has earned a buzzing and recognizable position as an emerging rave artist and DJ.

Sol Echo’s style blooms out of UK house and Techno, stemming from his love of melodic tunes and club-shaking rhythms paired with soulful vocals. Sol’s intense sound selection keeps beats rolling and rumbling, nodding to his roots in Bristol Techno and London Garage. In 2024, he brought his gutting sound to Chicago venues such as House Calls, Prysm, and several intimate parties around the city’s vibrant scene. 

Look out for his series of moody and intense tunes titled “i burned this CD for you”, a catalogue of introspective and punchy music made to capture the emotional side of thumping uptempo grooves.

Motel Breakfast is a true Midwestern band, with members split between Chicago, Milwaukee, and Madison.  

After three years of live shows in the Midwest, the band hit the studio in the summer of 2019 to record to tape at Treehouse Records in Chicago. Produced by Andy Goitia (Sleepy Gaucho), the self-titled debut album (released 2/7/2020) combines some of their most polished songwriting yet with the high energy and chemistry of their live show, making for the first studio effort that gives a proper snapshot of the group.

Left on Deming, the self-produced follow up project, is a 6-track EP that was released one song at a time throughout the summer and fall of 2020. With studio goals of tracking live and keeping arrangements simple, the project was pieced together quickly over one summer weekend of recording. The full EP was released everywhere digitally on October 16, 2020.
