Long-time Avenue Red resident selector Rubsilent from Istanbul, Turkey makes his 9th contribution to our imprint in as many years to keep the momentum going strongly for the BIG 200! This ~100-minute-long mix is textbook Rubsilent, delving into his deep vinyl collection to pull out a wide spectrum of the finest house & techno selections, spanning from the inception of the genres to the present day. Keep notes - all DJ's can learn many things from this seasoned pro of the underground.

"Between a day job work schedule and adapting myself to parenthood in mid-40's, life no longer allows me to spend as much time as I want on the decks at home. As the priorities are straightened I struggle with finding the inspiration and motivation to record a mix to tell a story these days and if the mix wouldn't tell a story I see no point of sharing it with people for being connected. After about 6 months of not recording a mix other than a few local gigs here and there, exchanging some messages with Alec on social media got me inspired to put a session together. Here you may hear that selection of old and new tracks mixed in one go on my home set up. Deep Electronics celebrates it's 10 anniversary and for this occassion I started this compilation to invite artists to express there music again in all it's diversity in genres. New artists and artists that where there at the very beginning of the podcast and label. My intention was always to combine music and photography. Later on digital renders where the face of almost every set and release.

Deep Electronics was and is always a podcast for producers and dj's to get the exposure they need and deserve. You always have to start somewhere! I hope I could contributed a little bit in there long and amazing road for them in music.

I would like to thank you all producers, dj's, followers and people that just listen. Without you this 10 years wasn't be possibel!

I also love all kinds of eclectic stuff including disco, boogie, Italo, synth pop, nu jazz, jazzdance, lounge, trip-hop, downtempo, dub, reggae, jungle, liquid drum & bass, IDM, electronica, Warp, Ninja Tune etc.

In summer 2013 I set up the Avenue Red (@avenue-red) imprint to push quality material from a wide plethora of DJs and artists who I have particular respect for in terms of their musical output, artistry and dedication to the cause.
