Rounding out the year 2021 we have a sensational EP from Jack Coletta. Jack has previously released on our sister label Valiant Records along with notorious Melbourne label "Recovery Collective" which has seem him develop a solid following in the scene down under.

After some back and forth with some tasty tunes we settled on Markarska and Molo. Makarska is more of emotive of the two when Jack drew inspiration from a recent trip to Croatia. A record perfect for those summer nights, windows down and the wind blowing in your face…….The percussion, keys and vocal ad-libs carry the tune throughout and is perfect for the upcoming summer season here in Australia.

On remix duties for Makarska, we have the wonderful Vanita. Hailing from Zurich, Vanita has been on our radar for a while and we are thrilled to have her on UGenius for the first time. Her signature melodic chug and raw production is one for the peak time selectors and will be certainly a staple in a few sets.

The B side "Molo" is most definitely written with the dance floor in mind. Jack's organic sound is gritty, forward thinking and blurs the line between genres.

Freshin Records marks its third release of its magnificent compilation series R U Fresh . The usual suspects joined by two fresh names have pooled once again their forces to create 13 absolute stormers, 3 of them already released and tested successfully on the dancefloor! 
This album stands out for its diversity, it captures different techno moods and styles creating 13 strictly dancefloor orientated slices. Going from Adrian Hours wavy synth loops and cricketed drums to Kikos Moto where aggressive bass lines, swirling filters and discordant synths increase anticipation!! 
Label boss Da Fresh leaves his mark on Anton Xs Black Soul, looping skillfully its vocals and piano riffs setting the mood straight away! Jack your body has already been released showing once more this mans undoubted skills and talent. Free your mind is a brilliant remix of Ukrainian producer Spartaque showing off rolling accelerated beats and drums. 
Matt Minimal brings in a deeper sound with Technic&#8221; increasing anticipation with its low bass while vocal chops hummer along with playful riffs. 
D-Funkshion s Freak leads a bouncy circle blending cowbells, wooden percussion and drums while a persistent horn leads the battle. 
Carlos Almazanis adds his minimal sound in CA041 with quality-ridden drums, a fat bass and a melodic chord, the one that sticks in the mind for days. 
D&#8217;Jamency hovers between dark and light with Nocturnal using deep bass and hypnotic stunt horns. 
This compilation couldnt miss out Ant Brooks groovy Drumba with its catchy vocal snippets and his familiar chunky bass cracking it. 
And back to getting a bit more serious with master Citizen Kain and Boryana on his side releasing Mania leading with full dancy rolling drums before a gnarly bass layers in and peaks suspension. 
Agent Orange rolls out into action with U Can&#8217;t Hide using house vocal snippets keeping the bounce affair alive and kicking while Alex Nemec and Nik Feral with Muv keep the vocal chops punctuating on the background and let the drum beats do most of the work. 
 Definitely another feisty package from Freshin Records.

Exploring this theme of journeying beyond our strict sense of self, label mates and friends Tale of Us and Mind Against have joined together once again to create a work that works, fittingly, well past the summation of it’s parts. Playing with tension and release and a restrained but expressive sonic palate that paints a picture without words, these accomplished artists from the Life and Death team bring us to a place that seems to surely exist. Even if we might not be able to pinpoint exactly where that is.

'The Dutch upcoming artist Colyn (@colynmusic) is the one who puts a stamp on the third EP of Infinite Depth. With two spacey and great mixed originals he laid more than a good foundation for the remixers. The title track ‘Passengers’ got remixed by the French brothers Esoteric Circle (@esotericircle) and the second original ‘Orbital Hypnosis’ got infused by the one and only Erly Tepshi (@erlyofficial).  

With the first track ‘Passengers’ the EP immediately starts off pretty determined. Soon the firm kick gets accompanied by a some pounding drums and well placed spacey synths, sounding like passengers finding their way through our universe chased by those thrilling drum sounds. 

Esoteric Circle managed to take the thrilling part of the original to a higher level with their remix. The spacey synths are making place for an appealing melody which increases the tension. This tension holds on till the very end of the track.

After being in a continuous state of space and tenseness the third track ‘Orbital Hypnosis’ adds some euphory. With its compelling break and hypnotical plucks it keeps you in a higher state of mind.  

Erly Tepshi’s remix takes you even a little bit higher by using this compelling melody as main flow through his remix. Only this flow makes some unexpected changes at the points Erly injected his typical, sometimes even distorted, plucked synths. With a heavy a breakdown almost at the end of the track this remix brings the EP to an end.'

We are absolutely delighted to share with the world the first release of Euphorie Bezirk records, the long awaited brain child of Australian artists Handsdown & Leigh Boy, with a focus on dark, emotional and progressive minimal and techno.

The first release comes in the form of a huge E.P from Melbourne producer and friend John Baptiste, a vocal bomb that pulses through its entirety - tied together with crisp percussion and bass, as well as the incredible voice of Aishah Espinosa, culminating in a huge moment perfect for dance floors big and small. 

The E.P includes remixes from UK progressive royalty Ben Coda (of Nanoplex) and Meat Katie as well a non vocal dub mix.
