Joel es un DJ costarricense emergente que mezcla energía tribal, groove profundo y alma latina en cada uno de sus sets. Su conexión con la música electrónica comenzó por casualidad, cuando una amiga lo llevó a una fiesta de techno y quedó impactado por cómo el DJ controlaba la energía del público, llevándolo de momentos intensos a pasajes hipnóticos.

Esa experiencia encendió una chispa. Con la ayuda de un amigo, aprendió los fundamentos de la mezcla y comenzó a experimentar por sí mismo. Su primer gig fue en un evento de cannabis, donde su selección musical elevó la vibra de la fiesta —un debut que dejó huella.

Tras una breve pausa, regresó con una visión más clara y una nueva máquina, explorando sonidos afrobeat, base & drums y ritmos latinos, siempre con un toque personal que une culturas y hace mover cuerpos.

His DJ journey has taken him across the UK and beyond, with standout performances at iconic venues and festivals including Ibiza Rocks, Float Your Boat, Beatherder Festival, Royal House, Static Sessions, Rejuvenation, Universe, Tolerance, and Indian Summer. Whether playing intimate underground parties or large-scale events, Angus brings an infectious energy that keeps the crowd locked in from start to finish.
