Assignment 1 - Drum Programming

The goal of this assignment was to create an original drum kit by recording sound from my surroundings. I used the following sounds in mine:
- Nail Polish Bottles
- Bag Balm Container
- Water Bottle
- Pencil Bag (zipper, specifically)
- Lipstick (Cap)
This is in 107 BPM

Assignment 2 - Rhythmic Noise

Created using a coded Max for Live instrument containing multiple oscillators, an ADSR envelope and LFO. It is connected to an analog synth that I messed around with and got this kind of funky piano-ish sounding thing. It is very bizarre.

Drum and Bass (but the bass is questionable)

First attempt at mixing and mastering. This is the result of 3 scrapped ideas that somehow turned into this song. I experimented with a lot of random instruments that I found on Ableton that I found worked well together. 107 BPM and in C Major key.

Dreamyard (Assignment 4 - Sound Composition)

This is an audio essay that describes the backstory of the character N from Pokemon Black and White, as well as a thought piece on whether or not he can be considered a "villian". The instrumental for this was inspired by the type of high-toned music that is featured in this game. Similar to his soundtrack in the game, "N's Farewell", this is also in D major/E flat scale and in 125 BPM.
