I am glad to release my new single “Überdruck” which I have recorded LIVE in one shot with the Elektron Model:Cycles.

I have looked for a groovy and hypnotic synthesizer sound that combined with the strong drum part could keep the dynamics of the song at their maximum level.

I am glad to release my second single, which will probably be part of the EP that I am planning to release at the end of summer.

As my previous track “Überdruck”, this track has been recorded with the Elektron Model:Cycles in one single shot.

This is part of my DJ set at Open Ground on 08.11.2024. The closing set lasted 6 hours and 20 minutes; this recording is the last two hours. My set-up on the night was 2x Technics 1210 MK2 & X:ONE96 DJ mixer and the best sound system I have ever witnessed inside a club.

The number 7.83 represents the Schumann Resonance, often called the “heartbeat of the Earth.” It’s the Earth’s natural electromagnetic frequency, believed to promote relaxation and harmony an ideal inspiration for a hypnotic techno track that connects to a primal rhythm.

This single will be released as part of my upcoming EP, “Breath//Collapse”.

The track was recorded live using the Elektron Digitakt and an acid sequence from the Behringer TD-3-AM.
