Hailing from Norway, Bulgarian-born DJ and producer Kameliia is our guest for the second podcast of the year. Born in northern Spain and now based in Berlin, Leiras is a DJ and producer who has spent the past decade shaping his sound across multiple aliases and imprints. As the founder of Ownlife, he’s built a platform dedicated to techno's mental and experimental edges, while also advocating likeminded artists through both new releases and reissues via his ‘SELD’ series.

A dedicated student of rhythm and sound design, Leiras brings a sharp sense of intention to everything he does—paying homage to the foundations of techno while always searching for new ground. His sound builds slowly, using looping patterns and subtle shifts to lock you in—less about big drops, more about staying in the zone.

Raised in Bristol, Jack Wallis’ earliest musical influences were shaped by dubstep, punk, and UK techno, shown by his early releases on Darwin’s label SPE:C. Following his move to Berlin in 2017, he and The Lady Machine established Unterwegs, an imprint to release music from like-minded talents, including Decka's pressurized, raw, and driving techno productions.

Since then, he has released on top-tier labels such as KEY Vinyl, AMTK+, Tar Hallow and Token. Pushing the boundaries of modern-day techno, the quality of his music is consistently recognized with multiple sold-out releases and a growing portfolio of remix commissions for esteemed artists such as Dubfire and Dimi Angelis. He now runs a second label with artist Roseen - Frameworks - where the duo released their debut album “Imaginary Places” in 2023. In September 2024, Decka released his first solo full-length LP "Exit" on Tar Hallow.

His fervent love for analog in the studio translates behind decks. DJ’ing only with vinyl since the beginning of his career, Decka’s sets not only highlight his clear-cut technique but are filled with moments of suspense and tension amidst high-octane energy, drawing on his extensive knowledge of techno, never limiting himself to just one style.
