"Der Jungbrunnen" is our platform to feature a following generation of talented artists from the neighborhood and beyond. Appreciate to introduce @berndpaulundmartina form Frankfurt am Main.

His sound is defined by ambivalent beats, pitched down techno, acid, organic and driving deep sounds. In short: electronic deep punch music with a smile. His sets are just like he is: sometimes happy, sometimes melancholic, sometimes dark.

"Me, Myself and I" defines the character of Bernd,Paul&Martina. A name born out of drunkenness and whimsy is simply meant to represent what makes up the diversity of electronic music and life itself: beats per minute,  hits of life, a heartbeat, strokes of fate...
He is a podcast manager of the reknown "Hörwerk" series around the Frankfurt based label @limpiorecords.

The set "Deep Punch Romantic" describes the time in life when you have to decide for yourself where a path should go. "Do I let ghosts of the past catch up with me, or do I choose the path of self-love and mindfulness? Of contentment? Of happiness?"

Welcome back to the Magician On Duty Podcast Series!

On this month's edition we welcome Mcfly.

Alejandro is a DJ/Producer based in Puebla City, Mexico. He has released music on respected labels such as Underyourskin, Baikal Nomads & Tierra Sounds. He's also the head honcho at "Immersions", a great party concept that i had the pleasure to be part of a few months ago. Alejandro also joined our label by remixing "Pink Walk" by Überhaupt & Außerdem, and was selected by beatport as one of the "Best New Organic House" tracks for the month of April 2021.

McFly (MX) [Journey Series]

It was an honour to play the opening of the Puppenräuber Floor at this year's Wilde Möhre Seelenschaukel Edition on a beautiful sunny afternoon! We both had our own slots, but decided spontaneous to play a b2b of 3 hours :) we started 20 minutes in advance to get the groove on and as soon as the crowd arrived we started with a little intro and went from there! 
Thanks a lot to the crew for having us and for letting us experience one of the most intimate festivals where you can see and feel how much love they put in all the work! 
I also want to thank @johnny-bobo for the b2b, our amazing friends who joined us for the ride and for this wonderful crowd that gave us energy from the beginning!

Johnny Bobo & dit:eau @ Seelenschaukel - Wilde Möhre | Juli 2021

After an epic one-week stay in Iceland, time had come to fly home.  Hekske, the little witch, gave a long farewell hug to her new Eldnorn friends, the Icelandic fire witches who had taught her the art to master extreme heat and cold, and many other witchy secrets.  The eldest Eldnorn witch gave her one precious present, a pouch with ash from the Kerið volcano in South-western Iceland, which she had collected after the powerful eruption they had witnessed a couple of days ago (see Witchtape #115).
After one last kiss to her Icelandic friends, she flew towards the east over the North Atlantic Ocean.  It was an uneventful flight, with only one short stopover on the Faroe Islands to collect her immaculately white dress which she had left behind during a hurricane while on the way to Iceland.  The return flight was a million times easier than the grueling slog through the rain and the gale force winds one week earlier (see Witchtape #103).  And after a pleasant and sunny flight to Flanders, the little witch touched down in the center glade of her home forest, where she was welcomed by Falke (the 9-year old witch apprentice) and Lalita (the Asian tree nymph), who were intrigued by the white Eldnorn dress the little witch was wearing, with its unique orange flame patterns.
After a refreshing bath in the nymph’s pond and a good night’s sleep, the little witch told many stories about the mythical Eldnorn witches to her friends, after which she took the pouch of volcanic ash and made a tour around the witch’s forest, while still wearing the white & orange Eldnorn dress.  The girl spread small amounts of ash at dozens of different places around the forest, where it will serve as fertilizer for the plants and the trees, but at the same time spreading the wholesome energy of the fire witches all over the forest.  And after completing the tour around the woods, the little witch returned to the middle, where she spread the last bits of volcanic ash around the little oak tree (which is only 3 feet high but destined to live for 1000 years and become the mother tree of the forest).  The next few minutes nothing happened, but then the little tree started to react by emitting a faint orange glow, which started to pulsate like a heartbeat.  This pulse slowly became stronger, and gradually spread around until the whole forest was resonating with this pulse … spreading the unique ‘ice & fire’ energy of the Eldnorn witches all over the forest …

About this journey :
Ok, so I really didn't know where to start since I haven't recorded something in a looooonnggg time. However, when I was listening to Planet Caravan's Remix of my track Eleven Will Dust Lucas, I figured that I should just hit the record button and see where my mood was going to take me.
I remember I really loved the flow I was in from the moment I hit the record button, but wasn't sure afterwards if it was any good since there's no feedback from a crowd or anything. So I decided to take a listen to the mixtape when I was out on one of my regular Sunday strolls and I think it came out great. This one should really be played loud. It's a bit obscure, hence the name, but really fitting for a dancefloor. So hope you'll enjoy this mixtape just as much as I did when listening back to it.

Das war intensiv, in jeglicher Hinsicht. 
Genau wie letztes Jahr ist die Zeit auf der Insel geradezu verflogen. 

Geballte Schönheit der Natur gepaart mit Kunst und Detailliebe. Mehr kann man sich nicht von einem Festival erträumen. Kombiniert mit dem letzten Sommerwochenende, den entsprechenden Temperaturen und tollen Menschen kann das nur zu wenig Schlaf führen ;) 

Wir sind stolz auf die Menschen dahinter. In so kurzer Zeit solch eine Professionalität hervorzubringen, ist wirklich beachtlich. Was da wohl noch kommt ... 

Es war uns ein wahres Privileg, Teil davon sein zu dürfen und wir sind unendlich dankbar für euer Vertrauen in unsere Musik. Danke!
Schon im Vorfeld haben wir uns viele Gedanken gemacht, wie wir diesen Opening Slot am Samstag um 14 Uhr nutzen würden. Dabei hat auch die Wetterprognose eine entscheidende Rolle gespielt ;) Heiße Temperaturen, von Null das Ganze hochfahren, nicht übertreiben, aber gute Energie mitgeben ... So in etwa war unser Anspruch. Insofern senden wir nochmal ein großes Dankeschön an alle Tanzenden, die der Hitze trotzten. Wir haben die Energie und das Set trotz Schlafmangel sehr genossen. Dabei hat natürlich auch diese massive Anlage einen großen Teil beigesteuert. 

Großen Dank auch nochmal an JaMoll für die super angenehme Artist Care.

It was intense in every sense of the word. 
Just like last year, the time on the island just flew by. 

The concentrated beauty of nature paired with art and attention to detail. You couldn't dream of more from a festival. Combined with the last summer weekend, the corresponding temperatures and great people, this can only lead to little sleep ;) 

We are proud of the people behind it. To produce such professionalism in such a short time is truly remarkable. I wonder what's still to come ... 

It was a real privilege for us to be a part of this, and we are infinitely grateful for your trust in our music.

We gave a lot of thought beforehand to how we would use this opening slot on Saturday at 2pm. The weather forecast also played a decisive role in this ;) 
Hot temperatures, starting from zero, not overdoing it, but providing good energy ... That was more or less our aim. In this respect, we would like to send a big thank you to all the dancers who braved the heat. We really enjoyed the energy and the set despite the lack of sleep. Of course, the massive sound system also played a big part in this.  

Big thanks also to JaMoll for the super pleasant artist care.

Było intensywnie pod każdym względem. 
Podobnie jak w zeszłym roku, czas na wyspie po prostu zleciał. 

Skoncentrowane piękno natury połączone ze sztuką i dbałością o szczegóły. Więcej od festiwalu nie można było sobie wymarzyć. W połączeniu z ostatnim letnim weekendem, odpowiednimi temperaturami i wspaniałymi ludźmi, może to prowadzić tylko do małej ilości snu ;) 

Jesteśmy dumni z ludzi, którzy za tym stoją. Stworzenie takiego profesjonalizmu w tak krótkim czasie jest naprawdę niezwykłe. Zastanawiam się, co jeszcze przed nami... 

Bycie częścią tego projektu było dla nas prawdziwym przywilejem i jesteśmy niezmiernie wdzięczni za zaufanie, jakim obdarzyliście naszą muzykę.
Długo zastanawialiśmy się nad tym, jak wykorzystać ten slot w sobotę o drugiej po południu. Prognoza pogody również odegrała w tym decydującą rolę ;) Gorące temperatury, start od zera, bez przesady, ale z dobrą energią... Mniej więcej taki był nasz cel. W związku z tym chcielibyśmy bardzo podziękować wszystkim tancerzom, którzy stawili czoła upałowi. Naprawdę cieszyliśmy się energią i setem pomimo braku snu. Oczywiście ogromną rolę odegrało tu również potężne nagłośnienie.  

Jeszcze raz wielkie podziękowania dla JaMoll za super miłą opiekę nad artystami.

"Die Welt scheint manchmal verrückt zu sein - wir können uns in all dem Wahnsinn verlieren, ja. Aber wir neigen dazu zu vergessen, dass das nur eine Oberfläche ist. Wir verwechseln das Wetter mit dem Himmel und die Wellen mit dem Ozean. Aber darunter liegt ein Raum, der nicht von den sich ständig verändernden 10.000 Dingen beeinflusst wird, unvergänglich und ewig. Deshalb ist es von Zeit zu Zeit notwendig, in einen Heiß-Luftballon zu steigen und hinaufzufliegen, nur um einen Blick auf die eigentliche Realität zu erhaschen. Das hilft, die Illusion von Maya zu durchschauen, um wieder Hoffnung oder noch besser das Vertrauen zu schöpfen - trotz all des Chaos.

Wie der Psychologe Erich Fromm in der Einleitung sagt: „Ich würde nicht auf eine gute Chance wetten, aber ich bin nicht hoffnungslos. Ich glaube, dass schon biologisch gesehen im Menschen eine Tendenz liegt, sein Leben nicht nur als Einzelner, sondern auch als Gattung zu erhalten. Und erhalten kann man das Leben nur, wenn man es entwickelt, wenn man ein Interesse hat, ja, ich glaube, man kann auch sagen, im weitesten Sinne, wenn man die Welt liebt. Und ich kann an dieser Stelle die Hoffnung nicht aufgeben“.

So lade ich dich ein zu einem Flug durch Turbulenzen in höhere Höhen, durch Wolken und Stürme, Tag und Nacht, jetzt, hier öffne deine Augen, schau nicht weg."

Magician On Duty & Dario Klein Release Epic 7-Hour b2b DJ set recording from Zum Scheuen Reh, Cologne

In a spontaneous and electrifying turn of events, Magician On Duty and Dario Klein have unveiled the full recording of their unforgettable 7-hour b2b DJ set from this September at Zum Scheuen Reh, Cologne. This rare marathon set captures two artists in their creative element, free from the usual time constraints and expectations that come with typical club or festival performances.

"For me, as an artist, it's a gift to play for such a long time without any limits on creativity," said Magician On Duty. "What unfolded that night was pure magic – just two friends exploring new sounds and feeding off the energy of an incredible crowd."
