SPF 50’s Social Life EP, released in March 2023, offered refined peak sounds and atmospheric club tools that defied typical genre descriptors, and cemented him as one of the most exciting DJs and producers in New York. 

Further exploring the world conjured in Social Life, SPF 50 has invited three artists he admires greatly - Sam Goku, Davis Galvin, and James Bangura - to reimagine the EP. 

The results are stellar. Sam Goku delivers an ambient techno version of “Grove Map” with a rude acid line, Davis Galvin transforms “Body Concept” into a sub-heavy system lifter as only they can, James Bangura digs up a moody deep house groove in “Liquid USB”, and SPF 50 himself rounds out the offering with “Blind Fade”, a reworked track from the Social Life sessions replete with the deep atmosphere and understated moments he has become known for.

Pinz rises with a fury on his debut EP ‘Chronic Pinz’. After releasing with Pinz & Pelz (Dance Is A Fetish, Lobster Theremin, Gallery Records) and Possible People (Extra Spicy) he breaks solo with an ambitious four tracker on his own label Dance is A Fetish.

Influenced by breaks and nihilism and fuelled mainly by Pinz own vocals, Chronic Pinz is an ode to frustration, contempt and the need to to find a rave for reprieve.

Rebellious in it’s opposition to current club culture - we are treated to a singular experience.

Mind Invader and Concentrate are the core of the release. Attainable but desirable breaks and 303. Whilst Hierarchy handles the only four to the floor on the record, made for peak time in a basement of 150 dancers or out in the Australian bush with no one else around.

NEW HIT: Pinz - Mind Invader [Dance Is A Fetish]

Juan Atkins' Infiniti project combines raw tactility and puristic elegance with Skynet, where slinking grooves mask chaotic frequencies and roughly-hewn structure.

Alongside fellow Detroit legend Terrence Dixon who appears on several tracks, Atkins exposes the life and emotion in machines, outputting a biomorphic atmosphere of industrial soul.

The ongoing importance of this album is indisputable, essential both to techno and to Tresor.

Random Copy's debut EP, "RDM001," presents an intriguing blend of electro's gritty pulse and IDM's intricate textures. This four-track collection reflects Random Copy's hands-on approach to sound creation, utilizing an array of synthesizers and drum machines. Each composition emerges from unscripted hardware sessions, embracing the unpredictable nature of analog equipment to craft a unique sonic palette.

The EP captures the raw energy of live electronic performance, with each track evolving organically through improvisation. Random Copy's hardware-driven process results in a sound that balances driving rhythms with complex, glitch-infused elements. "RDM001" offers listeners a refreshing alternative to software-based productions, showcasing the warmth and character of classic electronic instruments. The EP is set to be released on Science Cult, a label known for supporting artists who explore new directions in electronic music.

Vienna is the city in which label co-founders Stanley Schmidt and DJ Boring met for the first time. This romantic incident caused a cosmic connection, and led to the two producers teaming up and releasing a musical blast on today's scene. Today they present us with the second release spawned from their cooperation: "Smart Replies". The release is an impactful record of well-saturated electro, loose club-friendly sketches, and enlivened ambient soundscapes.

Stanley Schmidt is a very vivid full time musician based in Leipzig who is running two labels, "PH17" and "Rivulet Records" and he's also a popular DJ in the underground scene of Leipzig and Berlin. As a resident DJ at 'Buttons' and regular performances at 'FIER'-parties, his progressive style is ever evolving via exploration through house, techno and electro, which gives him his bold contemporary style. Functioning like collages rather than self-contained songs, Stanley takes various recordings and samples out of their usual context (a well-known drum-break, an odd gabber-Skream-sample, or a computer-voice generated by Google's AI) to form something entirely new.

The original of "Shifting Modernism" opens the A-Side with intense bass and is our Bolting Bits premiere today. A breakneck rhythm with loose euphoric vocals that are interrupted by a celestial synth cumulate into a nice frenetic tune. This opening just increases our appetite for more! The joint with DJ Boring, the remix of "Shifting Modernism", gives the EP an even more diversified sound. The Berlin-based producer manages to fit in his signature style even when working on something that's not his typical sound.  The whole record is full of little surprises and harmonic experiments of different elements. For us, it's a welcome occasion to listen to new inspiring soundscapes.
