The four-tracker kicks off with a jungle-infused club tool: "Cafe del Mardcore", which combines a relaxing vocal with sweet synth harmonies for a zen-like rave atmosphere. "Ausgefallen" carries you further into the groove with its sublime sampling and eery vocals.

On the flip we have "Dream Team", where influences of electro and footwork can be heard combined with ethereal pads and sizzling percussion. B2's "Take It" rounds out the release with a mystic 140 bpm roller, whose uplifting chords and infectious vocal make their way out of the club and into your heart.

The digital version of the EP comes with two remixes by local talents jpeg.love & UrbnMowgli. jpeg utilises their otherworldly voice on a cloudy reinterpretation of "Dream Team'', which presents a subtle take on jungle, floating on soft pads and chopped up beats. UrbnMowgli, meanwhile, steers things towards a different realm of the dancefloor with his electrobreaks remix of "Take It" which dissects the original and reconstitutes it as a main room banger with fresh cheeky vocal samples and rough 'n' raw synth-lines.

It’s all part of the greater Ostrich at large. Axefield’s opening ode to the exotics is a lucid dream in which your answers are questioned by a tropical animal as the steady beat thumps on and the hypnotising synths make you swing left and right. As the filter flings the hallucinogenic Ostrich Ride To Other away, the palm trees turn into riverbeds and clear crystal dreams. Was this the other side? I don’t know. You don’t speak Ostrich either. All we know is that you should ride the darned thing by its wings. If you would have listened you would have heard.
