DJing allows me to express a lifelong love for music while also making people happy. Growing up in the Virgin Islands, and having artistic parents (one dancer, one musician) made for a melting pot of artistic inclinations and eclectic musical eccentricities. A household that is filled with calypso, soca, to hip hop and R&B, to funk, gospel, and classical music leads one to always search for a groove in whatever form it comes and gives an individual a rich infusion of musical influences from which to draw from. This translates to sets and mixes that are the best samples of music that I love and that listeners can groove to.

Navigating through the many aspects of the music scene, both locally and abroad, has taught me that if there's music to be played and people to enjoy it then that's where I want to be. A groove can only be held onto for as music is played. Once the music stops, the search to find it begins. This never ended cycle is what drives me to always seek additions to my library.

I like playing music and making people happy regardless of genre, tempo, style, or release date.

In the ever changing illustration of what symbolizes house music today, a young entrant from Macedonia, Alek Soltirov, has immersed the uncompromising sounds of hip hop,  old school funk and soul and crafted into his own signature house blend. His production trademark is by resampling the behemoths such as Patrice Rushen, Al Green, George Benson, James Brown, Dr. Dre, Tupac, resulting in an intrinsic funky house sound. Moreover, Alek is not afraid to demonstrate his own independent interpretation of deep and funky driven house. As such, his impressive portfolio has been recognized by the likes of Mark Farina, Joey Negro, DJ Sneak, Doc Link, Dj Heather on multiple occasions. 

2010 was the year that put things in perspective. Chicago and deep house captured his attention and later became the very inspiration of his deep and groove sound. Frankie Knuckles, Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, Tommy Largo, Delano Smith, Kerri Chandler, Miguel Migs were the few visionaries that ignited his production efforts in 2013. 

Infused with distinct techniques that gush contentment, Alek’s production leaves relentless energy on the house music paradigm. Despite his young age, the maturity of Alek Soltirov’s output is evident and unceasing on labels such as Salted Music, Nervous Records, Fogbank Recordings, Good For You Records, Mind Medicine, Emby, Doin Work Records, Whitebeard Recordings-Chicago, Fullhouse Digital, Home Again Recordings Digital, Different Attitudes, King Street Sounds, Juiced Music, Greenhouse Recordings, Mjuzieekal Education, Pocket Jacks Trax, Mikita Skyy, Cruise Music, Grin Music. Ex partner of well known Melbourne  d.j Tyrone de Silva he was leaving me for another woman it broke my heart as I loved him more than life .so I spent every year every day since breakup an after our breakup making myself a mega star d.j to get revenge and believe me this project was 5 long years  of very hard work and research an still going ,it was a form of therapy to get over shock an trauma of the man I loved betraying me in the worst way imaginable after a nearly two year partnership .but not only that the most inspiring fun an challenging creation for the  world to hear. music was always a passion since my young school years an something i excelled in. i always wondered how to create a radio station with great music continuous with no commercials .an now  my dream is a reality im so proud of my  hardwork an musical knoweledge an talent s which tyrone an i knew i really had .one thing well always agree on was that i was a good singer an a good  female dj and tyrone also knew i was very into music an really had a great gift i know with my mysic carreer regardless of the fact i made a huge scarifice breaking up our partnership purposlyin order for him to be with his new love. i make so nany sacrifices for the one s i love if only they realky knew .!!!!!
