I played my first big gig in Florence in 2002, at the Fotazza de Bass. It was the beginning of a long lasting love affair between myself and Italy. I love Italy, I love the people, the parties, the clubs, the festivals, the vibe, the food and a million other things. I am so grateful that over such a long period of time, Italy has allowed me to come and play music. Especially Florence, where it all started for me, and the Viper Club has been a big part of that. A location, that was normally used to play alternative and rock shows mostly, has always been perfect for “our” kind of music too. I have such amazing memories in this place and I hope to be back there one day. This set was recorded there on November 12th 2011, which seems like a lifetime away… well maybe it is. Today´s AMFM episode contains the fourth and last hour of the set, I hope you enjoy the show as much as I enjoyed playing it…

Lisa May (AUS) is a rising star from down under. As she steps up to the newly formed VOLTA label from Victor Ruiz, The Australian producer brings an EP that explores an array of driving club sounds and showcases her brilliant abilities in the studio, sowing a certain successful future ahead.
„Dare I Groove“ is first up and brings plenty of electric synth energy over slapping beats. It's peak time. It’s dark. It’s edgy! The atmosphere is carried on with synths and vocals “a la The Prodigy”. The legendary Thomas Schumacher steps up to remix and layers up suspenseful synths over the powerful drums. It's a tense track that locks you in the groove and places you at the heart of the club with strobes flashing bright. Raw and energetic.

„Experiences“ (with Bass Empire) then strips things back to heavy drums and a pure synth line that develops into a searing surprise when it hits the drop. The unsettling vocals encourages you to follow the track late into the night. 

„Yada Yada“ then offers some heavyweight techno swing with nice dry hits and brooding bass. The contrast between beautiful melodies and rough synths is what makes this track so special.

This is a versatile and vital EP on VOLTA and it’s a statement that puts Lisa on the map.

Alen has quickly risen through the ranks to become a worldwide renowned DJ and producer. Although it is difficult to categorize his music, his productions are on the forefront of new developments, groundbreaking and experimental. From melodic Tech-House/ Techno, to darker and harder sound, his music always presents relentless grooves, and powerful beats.

He signed his productions to more than 60 record labels. His tracks are regularly top rated on digital venues like Beatport, Traxsource or Trackitdown, and sought-after by the world’s most influential DJ legends such as Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Deadmau5, Criatian Varela, and many more who are playing them live at the biggest electronic music festivals.

As a DJ he headlined many open air festivals and performed in clubs in the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, or Bosnia-Herzegovina.

In 2014 Alen opened a mastering studio and is currently working as a mixing and mastering engineer.  He is also a multi instrumentalist.

Njegove trake “Light Man” i “Get The Funk Out” Carl Cox vrti od Mayday-a, preko EDC Las Vegas, do Ultra Korea te Ultra Europe…Richie Hawtin vrti Alenovu traku “Take This” u Italijanskom klubu Tini Soundgarden.  Alenove trake takođe puštaju i Umek, Cristian Varela, Kevin Saunderson, Slam, te mnogi drugi...

Pored BiH, mnogo puta je nastupao u susjednim zemljama Hrvatskoj, Srbiji, Sloveniji, te Češkoj. 2014 Alen otvara svoj studio za mastering i aktivno se bavi istim.
