Communication Themes Volume 10 releases worldwide July 30th across digital formats. Initiated in 2016, Renraku's Communication Themes series has been the longest running compilation series from the imprint and features artwork from Matt Iwicki.

Like its predecessors, Communication Themes Volume 10 is abundant in style and form,
percolating with intensity as new electronic forms emerge through the fusion of
experimental bass, halftime, glitch, IDM, leftfield, and so much more. Sounds
beyond singularity.

Renraku has continued to carve out their own lane in modern electronic music and the Communication Themes Volume 10 EP is another important marker point on this path.

What began as curiosity about different musical cultures has evolved into
   something deeper: using sounds from around the world to explore where
  we've been and where we might be heading. Each track becomes a small
  meditation on empire, legacy, and the strange ways the past keeps showing
   up in the present day.

"Soldier of Fortune" is a brutal, cinematic journey through the mind of a mercenary who kills for money. Across 15 high-impact tracks, the album follows his descent from cold precision to complete psychological collapse — from the first contract to the last heartbeat. Heavy trap 808s, bouncy DnB drops, dubstep growls, and cinematic textures drive the story forward, pulling the listener into the chaos of war, betrayal, paranoia, and guilt.

It’s not just about the battles fought with bullets — it’s about the battles he can’t escape inside his own head. Every bass hit feels like a gunshot, every drop like a door kicked in.
