Kryptic Minds - Badman VIP

California based Resykle is stepping up with what will most likely be the last stand-alone 4D Exclusive Download of the year: the darkly titled "Casual Stabbing Dub". Dub delayed effects open the tune, to be joined by what can only be described as a musical distortion. Shortly after all of this, a hard hitting sub peaks its head out, only to drop full force at the 27 second mark. While these individual elements sounded great on their own, being brought together takes this track to the next level. The reverberated sounds carry on, while the sub demands attention, gliding and jumping its way through the head space- real personality in this one. It would also be naive to not mention the subtle drumming and percussion throughout, silently taking the tune to new heights. 

Nothing here sounds forced or contrived- the elements work together in a natural way, perfectly conveying a dubby -- yet dark -- experience.

Shortly put: this is NOT one to miss.
