We are happy to announce a brand new project which brings together the collaboration of two talented individuals as ‘Dramatic Chips’!

Since Connor Male and Nina Patrice’s paths crossed just over 2 years ago, they have found themselves opting to play the majority of their sets cheek-to-cheek rather than on their own. 

‘Dramatic Chips’ represents both their tendencies to lean on the more dramatic side. With a shared love for the moody, the emotive and the outright eccentric.

One half of the moniker features Nina Patrice’s darker side blended with unapologetically groovy obscurities, whilst the other is made up by Connor Male’s extensive tech-house/breaks records typical of a late 90s UK sound, as well as the more prog’y-techno bits that he’s obsessively collected over the years. 

A fortunate collision of a juxtaposition of individual sounds, that’s transpired into something that’s without a doubt greater than the sum of their respective parts, which strangely aligned with the request to release a mix on our Synergy Selects series.

For our fifth edition we invited Marian Belean (@marianbelean), a young passionate selector and digger from Timisoara, Romania.

His narratives are built on a foundation of refined percussion, layered synth patterns, and immersive spatial effects, the mix slowly evolves—never rushing, but always moving.

Introducing a fresh new label concept from Robin Ordell. No Time County’s focus is music that brings a feeling of elegance to the dance floor. A deep interest for sounds has given Robin a refined ear and a unique personal style, which permeates into his vision for the label. 

On this first release we get three slinky cuts, each one representing the label ethos in its own way.  We feature Robin’s contribution ‘Backwash’, a track that fuses soul and retro beats to create a captivating composition full of energy and mystique. Robin’s penchant for unusual sounds is evident from start to end with an almost frog-like motif in its croaky cadence.
