The centennial podcast of this series is brought to us by Morah. At some point in his career, the dark prince of Athens and resident of the Phormix label and event series achieved a unique and iconic status with his unconventional take on gritty electronic music that transcends genres. The first time we experienced this in the flesh was in the old Griessmuehle location on the Sonnenallee in 2019 and were blown away.

Whether it was his debut release on Helena Hauff's label, or the many life-changing performances over the years that are well-documented, his body of work speaks for itself as he graces labels such as Berceuse Heroique, Vanila, Brokntoys, Lux Rec, and most recently on Body Musick as well as a self-released album called Zesta. He's captained the Phormix event series as a resident and is a core part of the Athens crew whose label boasts some of the most exciting releases coming out. He's added another time-lasting performance to his list during the most recent DT Camp two weeks ago. It should be no surprise that we invited him as a special guest for our ADE event together with Pinkman Records on October 19th and can't wait 

These are trying times for all with many significant global events taking place almost daily. With this as the backdrop, we hope this series has brought some enjoyment. Thank you very much to the artists that have contributed to the series over the last two years and to the listeners for tuning in every week. We look forward to seeing all of you on the dance floor. Timothy J. Fairplay has been a feature of electronic music now for nearly two decades, first playing electro and ghettotech in the early 00’s, his time in Cold Wave band Battant, or his time as a duo with Andrew Weatherall in the Asphodells, as well as his solo work. Just back from playing at this years DT Camp, Timothy has spent much of this year, between gigs working on new music for his new label Dungeon Module, some of which is included in this mix which along the way includes weirdo ambient, soundtrack, jak, industrial and techno sounds.

Comme Des Larmes invite Daniele Cosmo & Marsman

Nico Cabañas, a.k.a SYNTHS VERSUS ME, could be surely considered a pioneer of the electronic alternative scene in north-west of Spain, buying vinyl records and playing as DJ since 1989.

Back in 1995, he’ve opened his first records and clubbing clothing store, ELEKTRO ILLUSION, combining it with DJ residences at several iconic clubs in the north of Catalonia. In 2014, along with his wife Vanessa (R.I.P), they started their own musical band project under
SYNTHS VERSUS ME alias, achieving an instant international success and being the founding motivation of ORACULO RECORDS, widely
considered as one of the world’s most influential vinyl labels speaking of nowadays darkwave, synthwave, post-punk and ebm, with over 100
releases, extremely desired by vinyl collectors.

As SYNTHS VERSUS ME he released 4 albums and 5 EP’s and he’ve collaborated and co-released/ remixed/versioned material with artists such as BOY HARSHER, THE NEON JUDGEMENT, ABSOLUTE BODY CONTROL, BLIND DELON, WIND ATLAS or GARY NUMAN.

In 2018, he’ve founded OMBRA FESTIVAL with his partner Raul Gayo, where they present one of the best dark electronic shows of the entire world.
