Milan-based independent label Drums and Chants release an exclusive Web3 collection called ‘FRITTO MISTO’ introducing a selection of their underground community of musicians and artists.
Alessandro Adriani is a lot of things: producer, DJ, live performer and owner of the super prolific Mannequin Records label. The Berlin-based producer does the show at Berghain and Panorama Bar, a residency he’s held since early 2016.
In 2021 he contributed with an electro-killer remix of the opening theme of cult-classic-movie “Matrix”, with the new chapter “Resurrections”.

Hugo Capablanca has been measured in his approach to releasing music of his own. While his label continues to grow in stature, fresh Capablanca material doesn't come along every day, and this salvo on Disco Catorce is a welcome fix. Lipeli's "Paper Sound Dub" of "Lap Dance" is a killer restrained roller that leans towards heavily percussive disco and bug-eyed 70s sound FX. "Track 2" finds Capablanca getting heavy with the signal processing, creating a right racket in the process. Alessandro Adriani's remix of "Dance Less" is a lean, menacing workout of wave-laced techno, and then YPY freaks the end of the record out with the "Exp Ver" mix of "Top Less".

Presented at Grauzone Festival 'GrauKunst' installation on the 2nd February 2020.

The work is a real time 3D visual performance and video installation. It is based on a research on 3D scans and photogrammetry of archeological objects, animal nerves, old ornaments presented in collections and museums around the world.
These advanced scanning techniques are enabling to record informations and to digitalize the shape of real objects. Each scan captures the uniqueness of an object, existed in the past. The scan carries within his data all the signs of a past life and its marks. The proportions are maintained, as well as the details, the flaws.

Once these skeletons are abstracted from their previous physical form, digital textures are applied. At this point the objects are finally brought to embody a new identity in a virtual space.

A hybrid life arises.

The Scythian land, is a genetically anomalous soil. As early as XI century it was believed that was home of the Zoophytes.

Flora is carved in architectural exoskeletons where caves of great extent, uninhabited, perceive their own presence in pulsating walls.

Neither flora nor fauna alike, the Borametz grows its bones out of stems coming from the ground. A plant in essence, the Borametz flows real blood when carved with a blade. An umbilical chord connects his body to the soil. His skin is soft and his blood red.

The performance 'Phosphine' was presented as audio-visual live show and installation in a worldwide premiere for Borshch Magazine at Trauma Bar und Kino in Berlin, 15th February 2019 
 
Processed through a cinematic feeling, this extended classic tragedy moves throughout illusory electronic scapes, faded voices and virtual 3D imagery breaking into a landscape of algorithms and noises.

The resulting collection of 8 tracks can be described as minimal wave pur sang, reminiscing of the darkness and doom from the cold war period.

The exorbitant and jumpy synth lines and derailing revolving drum machines keep us moving, all analogue of course. With this album, Adriani confirms his musical excellence.
