someone in new york is a classical violinist-turned electronic music DJ. With minimal, deep tech sounds and hints of melody, someone seeks to create a meditative and optimistic sound journey on the dance floor. 

SINY has played at some of New York's best speakeasies and electronic music venues, including TBA Brooklyn, Gospel, The DL, Mood Ring, and more. Someone also holds a monthly residency at La Noxe, where she plays House and Nu Disco, tucked inside of the 28th street subway station.
