Gunshot blues is the first track I have written and recorded. I recorded the track at HQ Studios in Manchester. I first started writing the song about 7 years ago but then moved onto writing the next song and then the next song and so on. I finally got around to finishing this one last year and taking it to the studio to record. I play the guitars, bass and there is an organ somewhere in the background. I then attempt to sing as well. Drums are a mix of samples put together by the producer. There is some other percussion in there such as tambourine and I don’t know if there is a technical name for it but “shaky egg”? My Dad did those as he came with me to the recording studio when i did this track and I wanted him to be a part of it. See what you think…..

Well this is a bit of a curve ball , I had been listening to Axel Menningen and was so impressed I asked him to help on a song I was doing , he in his wisdom suggested it being a duet , so I got in touch with my lifelong friend Kim , and the 3 of us put this together , it's a bit different from my usual stuff , but we think you'll like it ! On the 8th is a belter from me and Gaz , and on the 13th is another with Axel , this time with Charlotte . Guitarist from Manchester. Been playing for most of my life and have been writing my own music for a few years now but never really done anything with it. It’s just a hobby for me really but anything I put on here will be my own stuff. I can play a bit of bass and I wouldn’t consider myself a singer but I’m trying to develop some confidence in that area. Love a bit of blues guitar, especially Clapton and Bonamassa, inspired by bands like Free, Bad Company, Whitesnake, Metallica, Guns n Roses, Aerosmith and a whole variety of other bands. I’m a sucker for a great vocal and so my musical taste covers a whole host of music, not just rock. Really interested to get peoples take on my music and see what feedback I get but also looking forward to hearing what great, original music is out there too!
