Hello, we’re NASA. You may have seen our astronauts, rocket launches, or Mars rovers — but have you heard our sounds? From interviews with astronauts and engineers to stories that take you on a tour of the galaxy, NASA’s audio offerings let you experience the thrill of space exploration without ever leaving Earth.

Founded in 2014 by Danny Padial (guitar) and Hayden Chauvin (drums), Canine started off as a blues rock/jam band playing Black Keys and Hendrix covers. We decided to add a bass player some months later, and since then have worked with great musicians like Matt Richmond, Chris Luckett, and Andrew Miller. Our most recent addition, Easton Kling on bass, allowed Andrew to hop on keys and electric guitar a few shows before departing to work more heavily with his group, ISM. 

Our current power-trio lineup is heavily influenced, of course, by Cream and The Jimi Hendrix Experience, but our goal is to make music that reflects, not only the thrilling aspects of a high energy blues rock band, but the emotional and harmonic depth of the Psychedelic Music greats like Pink Floyd, Funkadelic, The Beatles, and Led Zeplin, as well as more contemporary Psychedelic artists like Tame Impala, James Blake, Flume, John Frusciante, and Beach House. 

Going into 2017, we have lots in store for our listeners. Not only are we in the process of writing music for a full length album to be released this year, but we are also preparing to expand our lineup to 5 members; adding a keyboard player and a lead guitarist.
