Bright Light Bright Light is the moniker of Welsh born, London based Rod Thomas who released his début album Make Me Believe In Hope last year to rave reviews. Hailed by Sunday Times Culture as "a songwriter of extraordinary dexterity", by Elton John as the hottest new thing in music, ending up at no.4 in the Guardian Reader's Albums of 2012 poll, and touring with Ellie Goulding, Erasure and Scissor Sisters, it's clear that his late 80s/early 90s tinged ElectroPop has found quite a few fans.
Rod, "the boy Robyn in all but name" according to the NME, is performer, songwriter, producer and DJ.

There You Are gets the reMix treatment from some of the most exciting names in electronic music. Acclaimed Dreamwave/Nu-Disco/House producer Edwin Van Cleef  is up first with the kind of crowd pleaser he is so known for. The remixes of Volcano Boy were contributed by EsQuille, Hi Society, Junksista, and The Bakery. The Remixes EP will be released worldwide on April 14th.

Volcano Boy was produced and mixed by Grammy-winning producer Jeff Bova, known for his contributions to hundreds of recordings by significant mainstream artists like Katy Perry, Michael Jackson, Celine Dion, Luther Vandross, Eric Clapton, Robert Palmer, Billy Joel, The Bee Gees, Cher, Cyndi Lauper, and many more.

In addition to Jeff on keyboards, he is joined by legendary guitarist Tim Pierce, and LA’s most in-demand percussionist Rafa Padilla. Jane is joined on background vocals by the Rolling Stones own Bernard Fowler, with Carol Hatchett of Bette Midler’s Harlettes.

Volcano Boy, out March 31st, and the upcoming full-length album was recorded and mixed at Jeff Bova’s Bovaland Studio in the heart of West Hollywood, CA, and mastered at Marcussen Mastering.

Being invited to play on the bus after hearing everyone rave about it was certainly one of the most exciting news of the year.

Stepping up behind the decks following the Martinez Brothers was not such an obvious and easy task considering the differences in our respective “styles”. Nonetheless, all your smiles and dance moves whilst I was performing proved the RH crew had made that call for a particular reason.

Following such a positive experience playing on the bus, in the city, I can only imagine what it would be like in the middle of the desert.

Vampire is the latest release from long time staple of the Nu-Disco and Dreamwave scenes, Australian producer beaumont. This new single sees him teaming up with New York songstress Elle Pierre for a complex, intricate, Nu-Disco rocker that is as enigmatic as it is irresistibly groovy.
The single comes correct with a storming reMix package, headlining which is a deep, hypnotic House version from the amazing Clancy that is guaranteed to keep the floor moving. StardonE works his usual Dreamwave magic on his take on the track, loaded with soaring solos. BeatLoaf delivers a wicked slice of  laid back synthetic Disco while Helmut Schelsky goes straight for a twisting big room Disco vibe.
That's not all! Vampire B-side, and beaumont's swan-song, is the massive Milton's Party. Beaumont is moving on to musical pastures new, with new projects and new monikers, should Milton's Party be the last we hear from beaumont in this incarnation, it's a fitting, and rousing, final act for him.
